I'd think that's about as bad as it gets. Whoever worked on it previously and produced that as an end result needs to shake their head. Makes you wonder what the bikes are like that have been imported from Asia. Cracking work though, great to see a genuine engineer at work.

That’s why I would never ever buy a „restored“ Lambretta. It’s better to strip the hole bike an check everything. Maybe there is another crack somewhere 😮
Bought my 1974 spanish special in 1989 for £350. Off road since 1974😊 Do all the maintenance myself. This site is very good for hands on advice. Going to put a decompression port on mine😊

Hi Steve , cant believe the state of that frame mate and even more shocking is the amount of rust in a hot climate like spain . Im sure it will be better than new once you have repaired it tho mate , great informative video as always Steve 🛵✊️
