Wonderful memories. We all had Scoots, mainly Lambrettas, I had a LI 150. Late 1960s only know now how good life was back then.

I had an LD 150 ( 3 gears ) then went to an SX 150 bored out to 175. Oh I thought I could fly to the moon ;-) Amazing times, incredible journeys, great mates.

Robert w I'm restoring an ld 150 1956 now. It's more difficult than I expected. At the rate im going it will be ready in 20 yrs. But it will be a great day then. Cheers

Good luck Byron. I bought my LD for £8, I sold it for £9 & 10 shillings. It got lost in a game of cards & eventually was thrown in the docks where I lived. Sad end at the hands of morons. They were no friends of mine I hastily add.

Lembretta and vespa were great days in india. To see lembretta scooter we friends went to see movie '.tere ghar ke samne ', and Hollywood movie ' summer 42 ' starred Rock Hudson
