Lavar didn’t deprive melo from college. Melo actually hates school and jus wants to hoop. Fortunately melo is skilled enough to hoop for a living. I think lavar set him up for success imo.
If you thought Melo was going outside of the top 5 then u don't know basketball... This kid's like 6'8 with handles, crazy court vision plus he could shoot and get boards he's gonna be a top 3 pick easily
The problem? He hasn't proved himself against elite level competition. I'm sorry, but the NBA is a pipe dream if Melo doesn't go to college which he obviously isn't doing. He should join G League but he's ducking that as well. I don't know what's going on. What was once one of the most talented prospects in the country, became a hopper who might go the route of Julian Newman🤦😒.
Daddy won't sign with no team Lonzo is not on. LaMelo going to Lakers for sure. Maybe even as 2nd round pick or even unsigned FA. Lakers then grab another good pick. Could take minimum contract 1st year. Then take the makeup money on his 2nd contract. Whatever it takes to get around league rules. The Ball family doesn't need that money right now. I really want Melo to make it. I’m a huge Lonzo fan but his defense looks so bad like anyone can blow by him at ease then he’ll reach after. Hope he works tirelessly on improving

Honestly Melo gets so much hate but as he grows up and matures hes going to become deadly I think he will be better then Lonzo, plus he knows when to pass the damn ball hes not a ballhog
You know how long we been wanting to see melo hoop against actual comp!!!!!!!! I feel the move it can only be an up because if he get exposed (which I highly doubt) it’ll just give him stuff to work on
@@davidnortth2995 He can play reclassed and play for highschool again cause he's the youngest on 2019 class. But playing against high schoolers will not help him compare to playing like this guys.
