Remember when Destiny pulled Mel up at her event about not having a village. I believe Destiny wanted more out of their relationship and beings that she has abandonment issues with her mother, she saw Mel as abandoning her. Especially when Mel cut her off for good.

I have said it before and I’ll say it again, Destiny is an habitual pathological liar! She will do and say ANYTHING to get Melody’s attention! She’s just like coleslaw! They say the similar ignorant things that really are their own jealousy tendencies, as they do and say the most foolish things! It all stems from Martell “doing” the both of them but, still wanting Melody! It’s their inherent jealousy and envy because, they literally want to be her!
