You are correct in saying mini gt can do no wrong. I constantly find myself buying models i didnt previously collect because they execute them so well!
I started buying the LeMans/ IMSA cars after seeing one up close. I have about 2 dozen now, much to my wife's chagrin on me buying Hotwheels & Match boxes
Mini GT is doing the 1:64 Race car world an absolute treat. Especially over these oasis few years. The GTPs have been fantastic, the Super GT models as well are great.
Loving the MiniGT showcase! Always a pleasure to see all these models, even if the cars themselves don't interest me much. Would love to see more late '00s-early '10s representation from them. I'd buy in more than I have. Really can only think of that S2000 CR that they did. Other than that, mostly '20s or retro stuff. Anticipating some of those Bond cars though.
I'm excited for the Hyundai i20, this is the first true 1/64 of the WRC Hyundai i20. We have had the Ford (also MiniGT, also in your video!) and I have a nice Pop Race Toyota Yaris, though not in WRC livery, but the closest we had to the Hyundai was the Majorette i20 from their WRC line, at 1/51 scale. The Majorette is very nice, but 1/51 is no good. It will be great to have the 3 current cars in proper 1/64 scale for the rally collection. I hope miniGT do a WRC Yaris as well.
I now have their i20 N Rally1, which I pre-ordered a number of months ago, its tarmac spec looks nice. Mine has no QC imperfections fortunately. I'm hoping for a VW Polo R WRC and WRX (rallycross spec), that's my favourite car in the rallying world.
@@toddxhiggins sometimes you can but, then sometimes you can find some pretty good ones in stores which then obviously you don’t have to wait for shipping and all that stuff.
Wow.. so many cool cars 😳 I would pick the yellow Countach, the BMW M3 Touring and the Bugatti EB110 in silver. Because I have a blue one from Bburago in 1/18 scale.. But also the Puma WRC is cool.. I wished they would make a 2018 Ford Focus Mk4 as a hatch, or a wagon in grey and I will buy one if they make it.
My knowledge is limited, I hardly hunt. The packaging looks great . That blk Porsche looks great . Makes we want to get a Singer Carrera Porsche . These look spendy
I noticed in some of the turntable shots that the tires seem to be off the rim slightly in one direction or another. I noticed it mostly on the EB110, the Hyundai Rally car and one of the Porsche 911s. Do the tires not like to stay on the rims on these models?
One reseller I interacted with isn't aware that the Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm has a half-cage inside. Another reseller also never knew about Radical Motorsport until I told her about who they are when she thanked me for buying a Matchbox Radical SR3 XXR from her as she couldn't sell it prior to my arrival. She even doubted it's not a real-world car.
Why aren't we seeing new truck designs 🤔 like a datsun truck ? Seems it's only super cars and sports cars , and trucks or muscle cars are not on their Radar?
Not too much different than what Auto World and Johnny lightning does. They focus on mostly American/muscle cars and trucks and not that many sports cars. Mini GT does have mustangs and that old lincoln tho so I'm sure they'll eventually expand their American stuff a little.
Licensing is for losers and brainwashed corporate slaves. Car companies earn plenty of profit without making toys more expensive; licensing isn’t an important part of their business plan. In fact, they should thank a toy maker for doing one of their models, it’s like free advertising - maybe one day the toy owner will buy the real car.
