@@urideamabal (!!!) love the C63 Black Series. Imma have to nab that one if I get the chance. That and the Countach 5000 QV are my favorite chases so far.
As usual, I could not disagree with you more...the Tank Car is the best one in this set. It's the star and it screams cool! Who needs another Countach?
I’ve ordered the Lamborghini yesterday and it’s based on Jay Leno’s actual car. I seen it on RU-vid I’m so glad they made this Lamborghini in premium out of my diecast collection. I have tons of Lamborghinis from hot wheels and a few from matchbox.
Great set, love the Countach and the '66 Chevy Convair Yenko. The Tank Car has fantastic detail and that detail shows way better when John got it out of the package. Getting the whole set, maybe a case so i have a chance to get the sweet Countach Chase. Thanks for the showcase Lamley!
You guys are lucky here in Houston there is nothing in Walmarts and targets nothing legit nothing I don’t know how you guys find them here scalpers are a infestation 😢 nothing for months
The red Lamborghini was in the movie cannonball run with Burt Reynolds along with hot ladies that were driving the Lambo which also changed colors when the construction crew washed it from red to white.
wow, I wonder if Mattel will ever bring back Larry's Garage along with Phil's and Wayne's Garage? I loved that series plus the chase models with the signatures!
I have all these except the orange Countach, the black one is giving me Cannonball Run vibes. Just needs the rear wing and front spoiler with the fog lights.
Percy I think the Jay Leno cars premiums are the best they have. Hot Wheels I hope they do other people's garages as well one-off cars Hot Wheels premium rubber tire everything
I think it about 2008 is when hot wheels had to 2 corvairs and it was called very 8. the two corvairs.were different colors..tell hot wheels we need more corvairs again.
There were 15 versions of the Vairy-8! More if you count the oddities... wrong wheels, different wheels at each end and many more! Also there is the Corvair Van , Greenbrier Sports Van of which there are a few different versions of those too! Those are both far from a stock looking Corvair but this new Yenko is dead on! Hopefully they can do some other stock Corvairs! Afterall, Corvairs could be had as a coupe, convertible, 4 door, station wagon, pick up, van and even a motorhome! There were even beautiful show cars in the Monza Gt and SS and the Astro 1! I encourage People to look all these cool cars and trucks up! They were made by Chevrolet 1959-1969
Short version on Yenko is he was a tuner in the 60s n 70s that modified Chevrolets thru his dealership and alot were big block Camaros and Chevelles , mostly for drag racing The Stinger was for road racing
I saw video of yours more than a month ago and that black lambo was in the background but without the wording on the package. Was that part of this set?
The “tank” car was originally the “blastolene”. There are some videos out there in YT land about it. I’m a fan of all of them, however these are NEVER at any of the Walmarts near me. boo
Since hot wheels has the Yenko License I would love to see a Yenko Camaro, Yenko Chevelle, Yenko Nova Deuce, new Yenko Corvette, new Yenko Silverado and new Yenko Camaro
Why does everyone hate on the spoiler? That is one of the things that help make the car so iconic, you can literally see it from a mile away and know what it is 🤦
Today I got this series with my dealer, I liked all of them, I had been waiting for it for months and I wasn't disappointed, which do you think will be the most wanted?
Hopefully they give us 5DotRRs when they do release the Countach in white; 5Dots seem somewhat dated these days, but I imagine that they could be employed on other castings, too - I've seen basic 5Dots used on Twin Mill (or one of its sequels), so that would make a cool re-release for that casting in Boulevard, also the Hot Wheels original Turbolence used basic 5-Dots in at least two of its releases, and I'm pretty sure that it was based (however loosely) on Classic LMP cars from the '60s or whenever, so I'm sure that there's an obscure Classic LMP hanging out in a museum somewhere that would look AWESOME in 5DotRRs. Wait - did I hear you correctly? Lamborghini's doing a Tribute Countach?!?
Love most of the castings but my only gripe is that we spend five plus dollars for these premiums and they dont put mirrors not even nubs the castings just look odd to me imo.
the premium Lambo looked longer than the basic, more refined details, I don't think thy just removed the lights on top from the basic. wish the chase looked like the picture or vice versa. I never seen the real Countach with black rims
