I've been a little baffled by the multitude of negative comments about the Premium Fast & Furious line from Hot Wheels. Here is my take, and why I hope it continues for a long time. Leave your comments below!
Another major problem: Mattel doesnt make cars us fnf fans ACTUALLY WANT in PREMIUM ( DK’s 350Z l, Sean and Brian’s EVO, Rome’s Eclipse spyder, Han’s RX7,
Besides repeats, this is the one criticism I can get behind. Otherwise, even when they release just a background vehicle, they work great as a general HW premium outside of the package.
My opinion is the fast and furious stuff is really nice when it’s new models and new recolours. heck, I even like the mashup cars like the supra with the skyline livery on it. I think it’s a cool concept which could be explored further. However, I really hate how much recycling goes on with the fast and furious models. For example, the white BMW with blueish wheels on it was just out last year and it’s back again this year (not even 1 year later.) Another one is the Acura 4 door. A new casting for last year back again this year (not even a year later.) Both in the same exact look. No difference at all other than the cars art. It’s just lame when we see it. This recycling is only really good for very very new collectors. Don’t get me wrong, I like the fact they can get their hands on the stuff, I hate it when people miss the chance to find models, but at the same time I think it’s wildly overkill recycling the exact same car from the previous year not even a year later. I’d much rather we saw a ton more mashup models than the SAME exact car being released over and over and over again. Peg warming year after year.
I think people would shut up if Mattel released movie accurate castings with movie accurate liveries, while making the sets with less "filler" cars. For example, last worldwide availible set: Nissan Silvia Spec R Aero [S15] - movie inaccurate, not modified Toyota Soarer - great, but still inaccurate; no street style body kit, not modified, Ford Gran Torino Sport- ok, for muscle car fans Ford Mustang Boss 302 - It wasn't a Boss 302 in the movie but a fastback?? BMW M3 [E46] - ok, nice for newer collectors but mayble they could add the yellow one with black hood from 4th movie? Would be something fresh If only they could invest once and make new accurate castings for the Brian's Supra, Suki's S2000, Sean's S15, Brian's Evo... release Han's RX7... And even if they want to re-release models, why not ones people actually want? It just feels like those sets are unpolished.
HW business model = we'll only sell you what you want if you're forced to also buy 3 other cars you don't want as part of a set costing 5 times as much.
Literally waiting on this, but I refuse to buy a multi pack or whatever. I’ve even come close to buying a custom made one just for the fact to have a single card Supra
Great vid Lamley. I actually like both the fnf line and the fact its getting us new castings. My main concern is falling out of love with Hotwheels in general tho.. Mini GT is just taking over my mind
Answering the title: rereleases which warm the pegs, and dot-matrix decos that spoil what otherwise would be nice models. The latter is a problem with Premium in general.
My opinion is that there are still so many F&F cars to be made and release, repeat can be reasonable but why not recasting? I always hated to see the S15 Mona Lisa where it uses the wrong bodykit. I'm fine with the livery on different cars which I'm the type of person who loves unusual and uniqueness. Another thing Mattel can do is to make more new premium series, such as video games Forza, Gran Turismo, Need for Speed. Speed Machines? Why can't you make it a thing like back in the days since you have new CM6? Don't get me into how much you can earn from bringing back Highway 35 and AcceleRacers.
Hot Wheels just keeps milking them out. Instead of putting out new castings and spunky paint jobs, Mattel produces cars that nobody remembers and are basically just background cars to the movies. Sure, the supra and skyline are iconic, but a random land rover with Fast and Furious branding is a perfect example of money over quality. I don't collect them, they're just so unoriginal and tired that the cars aren't what they used to be.
Another thing that bothers me is they love to recycle these background cars more than the ones people actually like, remember and love (I don’t even really need to go through and name them.) For example, the white BMW with blue wheels on it was just out last year (not even a year ago) and it’s already been re-released again this year in the same exact look.
WAY to much repetition. Some of those F&F cars have been done 4 or more times. Mattel "conveniently" releases a new F&F premium set, but reuses 3 or 4 repeats in that set and 1 or 2 new releases. It's the same thing they do with Entertainment sets. 1 or 2 new casts, and the other 3 are repeats of the same exact DUD peg warmer casts that nobody bought the first 2 or 3 times around (MOTU, Thundercats, crap that has been hanging on our pegs for over 2 yrs now)
The Jetta is outside the F&F franchise, it's been a convention car & it's a recent 2pk car with Bilstein livery. The Chevelle was in Amercan Scene & Cruise Boulevard
I collect some of the F & F castings but only if I like it for its overall look or nostalgia. I watched the movies, but personally I am not into this street racing culture. I agree with some collectors that Mattel has overdone this series yet I am struggling to find another pop culture/car culture mashup that works this well. If it keeps the younger collectors interested and collecting, then I am okay with it. I am a muscle car guy and appreciate what this movie has done to celebrate car culture and especially the Chevelle which remains one of my favorite cars.
Here's my thoughts. Please forgive my lack of cohesion. I think my biggest issue with the current state of F&F Premium isn't just the constant repeats or the blatant cash-grab deco-swapped hype models that get gobbled up by the whales, it's how...meh...it all makes me feel now. I was BEYOND hyped when F&F Premium first debuted in 2019, and I made sure to collect every single set until it ended in 2021. I thought the final mix was good way to end it and I was pleased with myself for collecting every set as it came out. But then, only a year later, Mattel announces they're "reviving" the line without named sets. When I saw all the repeats, and that the sets were now unnamed, it was a HARD PASS for me. Thoughts of cash-grabs and beatings of dead horses popped into my head and have stayed there like a tumor ever since. Let me be clear, I deeply appreciate what the F&F Premium line has done for HW in terms of all the fantastic new castings that we've gotten, but ever since it got "revived" last year, it just hasn't felt the same. While I agree with Lamley about a lot of things he said in this video, particularly the bits about how you don't have to buy it if you don't want to, I feel like he glossed over the blatant cash-grabbyness that this license has become ever since the "revival." And yeah I get that repeats allow new collectors to get models from the past, but COME ON. The line has only existed for five years and they've released two castings (the M3 and the Integra) TWICE in the last year alone. THAT'S overkill, and it's obviously what a lot of people have issues with now, myself included. Finally, I'm one of those people who think the movies should've ended after Paul Walker passed away. The F&F franchise as a whole is really starting to show its age and overstay its welcome. Over TEN movies that've had an increasing lack of cohesion and story, the actors getting older, and its constant pervasiveness in the world of diecast has made me rather sick of it all. The films are decently fun, but personally, I'm getting real tired of seeing nothing but F&F products every time I stroll down the HW/Diecast aisle at Walmart. Can we get some other automotive IPs up in here please? TL;DR: F&F Premium is slowly devolving into an increasingly blatant cash-grab and the entire F&F franchise has overstayed its welcome.
*Hot Wheels is running the whole F&F thing into the ground, plain and simple 💯 Not every car from that franchise is popular, not every car from that franchise, was memorable. They keep releasing repeat castings in different colors and releasing unpopular castings that just sit on the pegs for months.*
The thing I don't like about premium F&F is the constant repeats without any changes to the model. Before, Mattel would change something about the car when it was repeated. They would change the type of paint from enamel/metallic/matte and change the wheels. Now, they are simply reissuing the same car the same exact way as before. That, and there are some hero cars that haven't produced yet, which they already have the casting available, but would rather produce a car that had a fraction of a second of screen time instead. And there are some basic and mid-tier F&F cars that haven't made the transition to premium.
The F&F stuff sales a lot. Where Mattel Hot Wheels is lacking is releasing the sets accordingly. Do part F&F part 1 in 3 or 4 sets, with all the cars from the movie (even some of the background cars). Same thing for the other movies and then leave it at that. Just add the ones that are missing like Eclipse and Evo from part 2 and some from Tokyo Drift. Regardless, they do sell and fly off the shelves fast. So I dont think they have any reason to stop doing what they have been doing. If it makes money, it makes sense. And although it has taken me years to complete the set from part 1 due to them releasing more cars at a later dates like the blue Maxima recently, I dont mind. Thats why I feel they should be released as sets with all the main cars for each movie, but they will do what they like and if it sells, there is no need to fix what is not broken. And I also agree that we need more american muscle, the jdm is getting very saturated with all diecast companies all over the GT-R's, R-34s etc.
well, first off, you can never find them in stores as we all complain about on here, and when you go to the Hot Wheels, meets, or anything of that nature, it takes some haggling to get it at the price that you want, and last, I’m just tired of hearing that franchise name
Hot Wheels is the McDonald’s of diecast, and HW Premium is like a Big Mac instead of a quarter pounder. There’s nothing wrong with a Big Mac, but this F&F stuff is a COLD Big Mac, and nobody wants to eat that.
Mattel should restart this series again. I'm more on the basic line on this one. What they should do is to group the cars per movie. Like all the cars ( the notable/famous cars) from the first movie down to the last movie. If a single FNF car like the Charger appeared in multiple movies, they should change the wheels to differentiate them.
I mean, there's still many Fast and Furious cars that have yet to be made premium, even though they're prominently featured as protangonist cars. The hate lies in the totally oddball mixes they put together. Like their habit of rereleasing mega pegwarmers over castings collectors would actually like a 2nd chance at finding. (Looking at you fugly M3 with blue wheels.) Heck, where's the orange M3 from the 4th film? Half of the time, Mattel already has the casting, but would much prefer making the most background of background cars featured in 2 whole seconds of a film.
I think its just how often they repeat themselves or use forgettable cars with barely any screen time. There are so many interesting cars from the entire brand that dont have representation in the line. Like the VeilSide RX7 hasnt been touched but we got the yellow civic from a few panning shots at Letty's funeral. The deco swapped cars are neat, its at least not the exact same car.
Have yet to see a proper 350Z premium casting, or Sean's Evo in premium, but we do have the random white M3 that I honestly can't remember what scene it's in.
@@TACADD Its barely visible in the beginning of the Furious 7 race wars scene, but you get a better shot of it when Letty races the Audi. Theres also much better cars to use in that scene, but we got the white M3 with blue wheels.
The top row of different silver tone Skylines (and one Supra) with the same deco encapsulates the argument. That was the writing on the wall for fans that were not 100 percenters on collecting the entire F&F line. We're left with a open and blatant cash grab to squeeze the last juice of the licence, instead of a more genuine celebration of the films' automotive legacies, and it's a little insulting. What will it take, until Mattel produces every single car and truck we saw on the massive "rollout" from the garage scene in F&F2? Dominic's baby pram too, perhaps? Sure, we got some new castings specifically made for the movie franchise. When will those designs filter down to silver logo and basics? Get some more use out of the moulds for those cars at least.
Seans Monte Carlo would be easy in premium. The 6 wheeled square body Chevy from fast 4 would be awesome. The red Evo from TD. Brians green evo and romans eclipse. Both the purple Impala and the red ford galaxy from 10. The peterbuilt, mclaren and a ratrod truck used at the end of hobbs and shaw. That have lots to choose from still.
But those involve investing money into things customers want. Mattel wants to dictate what we like rather than cater to it, and dictate it using the mould dies that they've already paid for 😂
Sean's Monte Carlo exists in a Walmart exclusive Fast and Furious set, just not as a premium. Maybe Mattel thought it'd be counter-productive to give a premium treatment to a beat-up sweaty Monte??
@mcirelandosharma7411 A lot of the tooling for fast and furious have been brand new tooling. The Maxima , the 4 door Acura, the black BMW from Fast X. Silver Mercedes from TD. I'm kinda wondering if it's a custom thing. The 6 wheel Chevy was customized by a custom car builder. They probably couldn't get the tooling rights from whoever built it. It's probably easier to get the tooling rights from a car company than a builder.
Consider this. You kid spends the favorite car in your set. Or just like your dog ate a cool cars card and broke the blister. YOU DONT WANT ANOTHER ONE? What about when you miss a car and really wanted it. YOU DONT WANT A Second CHANCE? What about new collectors always coming into the hobby and haven't even seen the car B4? They don't deserve one? Js lots of reasons to redo castings. Sometimes we just need to think. There might actually be a plan at Mattel.
@@NathanLeisy honestly, you make a really good point, like I understand a redo, but the minimum time is to remake one 6 months after, but Mattel do it like 2-3 months after. Evidently in the first time the Acura Integra Sedan made a debut, it appeared again 2-3 sets after, which isn’t good (the card art didn’t even change lmao) so I understand remaking many, but there needs to be ample time and enough design changes to make a redo (bare minimum change is to change the card art imo). So again, I completely agree, redos are a must, but space them out long enough to allow new castings to debut, but also long enough that the newer collectors can get the ones they missed.
@@NathanLeisyyeah sure, the billion dollar corporation cares about your hobby. Not like these constant repeats are just filler material for selling "full" cases to suppliers or anything.
@@kagurazakabg04 but that's most of what the series is filled with? JDMs are most dominant in F&F, and there are enough of muscle cars in those sets, you'll find them online or warming the pegs. Some sets had more.
I totally agree that Mattel is running out of ideas on Fast And Furious license and I think maybe they want consumers to buy the repeats and make more money that consumers can spent. But for me the reason I bought the repeats is because I need to compare them from older sets and new sets.
the problem in the fnf line lies in the fact that cars like the 1st movie and Han's supra don't have the correct bodykit or in the case of the mk5, not even a bodykit, it's a oversized, out of scale, stock MK5, also the DK's 350z, they keep releasing it in basic lines with a nonsense bodykit and never put the effort into making the veilside kit for premium
People complain about not having “main” cars in the movies and having to much fnf premiums, yet there is always the 1-2 cars in the set that always get scalped
There’s some dope cars they’ve made for us. I finally got the elusive Jetta thanks to seeing Ministry of diecast’s post every time Amazon restocked the new five pack. I finally got it on the third restock before they raised the price on it. That is one of my favorite cars. I have the red modern classics and have the silver labeled one that doesn’t have real riders. I removed all the deco on that one so I have one with and one without. I also got the new two pack with the blue Jetta and the VW I.D.R. Sorry I went off script there talking about the Jetta. Great video and have a good day sir.
A lot of people in the comments have really made some good points on this topic which is definitely a good topic of discussion because it does come up a lot but here’s my two sense on it. Am I a fast and the furious fan? Absolutely (don’t get me wrong I hate where the series has gone too now) but I was very excited to see them tackle most of the popular cars from the movies but they’re are still so many that should get the limelight as well. It’s awesome we get new castings because of this line and I get they do probably pay a lot of money to have the licensing as well. But the constant push of repeats is very unnecessary because while it does help out a very new collector it’s also taking away a spot for something much cooler as well. I’m not a fan of the deco swaps because as stated, that’s an obvious money grab by Mattel plain and simple. Not only that but look at how much they butchered the maxima for this but yet it was still awesome to have one to complete the original movie minus the charger. I just really think they need to lay off the pushing of the repeats so much and start focusing on putting more time and effort into making some of the other really popular cars from the movie that us as collectors truly want.
Instead of all the repeats it would be nice to see more cars Go Premium... Blue Porsche GT3rs, yellow 370Z, Gold Supra, White Supra, Charger daytona, 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer, 350Z...to name a few.
IMHO the repeats are fantastic. You have to realise there are tons of new collectors that haven't got these and would like to get them at realistic prices and not scalper prices.👍
But they are repeating the crap that no one wants. And when they don't sell, the retailer doesn't order newer sets because the pegs are still full of dross.
Waving that knife around and sticking it in the camera makes me nervous. Please don't. As for the actual video content: the problem with the F&F series here is the same problem that drives the entire ludicrous FOMO hype and secondary market of hugely expensive HW cars. Why are these models released in limited quantities when they don't need to be? To provide a counterpoint: Tomica. They make 150 basic models and 40 premium models, and switch them in and out individually, retiring an older, less fresh casting to release a new one. Toyshops have a display cabinet that shows every current model above a rack that holds all of them. All of them are stocked all the time, there's no artificial limit to them. Of course, new models sell out, but any given model is available continuously for years. Out of production models are still valuable and collectable, but there's no rereleases taking up a series, no problem getting what you want eventually, and NO REASON FOR SCALPERS TO EXIST. Of course in the Japanese market people ride the hype train and buy up all the new ones for popular models, to sell over the odds to people who must have it now now now, but you just have to wait and it'll become available. There's no reason they couldn't just do that with, say, a collection of 30 Hot Wheels Fast and Furious (and it would work with mainline and Boulevard, for that matter). Stop the FOMO. Each release is its own thing, no need to buy repeats, they don't exist any more. They could even do refreshes, change wheels, update deco etc. to drive sales. It's just a better way to sell toy cars.
It’s the recycling that sucks. One brand-new casting with 4 existing cars with new decos would be fine. But a case with one new car and the rest are full-on repeats has a bunch of stuff staying on the shelf instead of moving.
You get nice range of castings that would otherwise may not get done. Every time i see them, they are the leftovers on the pegs. So in this regard they make mattlel money. That is the name of the game. Odd ball castings like the el Cameo in the walmart exclusive set are overlooked because of wasky plastic overlay part. Under it is very nice badic car casting the car that can stand on its own. The humner is the same. It i s a great casting by itself. The same can be said about other odd ba castings. Hopefully, they find their fans in the end.
We love them, but the hate centralizes around the fact that NO ONE can get them because greedy scalpers buy up entire lots on first sight. I envy your ability to get just about every release, but we're not all so lucky.
I enjoy all of the Fast & Furious vehicles. Initially way back they were on regular mainline size cards and cost only 50 cents or so more than the mainlines. I wish I still had all of those, but I don't because I lined them all up one day and there were so many duplicates & triplets, even a quad I think. I'm not complaining because I opened the duplicates and I traded others. Then Hot Wheels made the Premium Fast & Furious sets. Each one costing $5 or $6. So I limited my collecting to only the ones I really liked or that were truly a memorable vehicle from the movies. I'm basically in the same opinion as yours, except I wish they were cheaper. The Fast & Furious franchise is over 20 years old, and there's new collectors that didn't get a chance at the initial releases like so many of us did. My only real complaint is the price hike with them becoming Premium sets verses just a subset with standard mainline size cards. I've come to really enjoy your videos. I'm loving the new big rigs you're featuring. I'm a mainline guy so I probably won't be buying any of those but they are nice to look at!
Let him keep making them I love them I love the cars love the movies new models remake models doesn't matter it's the Cross bred of all types of cars 🔥👍👌
I am not frustrated by the repeats because some people never had a chance to get them in the first place this way people can have ago again right My 5 are Mercedes Benz / BMW M5 / Subaru / VW Jetta / Nissan Skyline I wish they mad a Nissan 300SX or a 200SX for the F&F
I agree with the points made and definitely want repeats and even the deco swaps (to an extent 😅). The repeats and making mainline, midline to premium castings of the same cars in different ways is awesome. If I don’t like something I don’t buy it and I’m not a completace but I do understand the “want” to complete certain things . That extent for me with fast and furious is I’m only collecting cars from the original movie (and honestly the second now😂). But that said if I see something I really like I get it. I’m not new to collecting diecast but I’ve got way more into it the last few years so I love the fact that we can get a second chance at previous castings from everything from (some) mainlines to RLC's.
I'm happy for the Subaru, not my favorite year but still. Now the 22B and the 06/07 GD from Matchbox are tops. Bugeye comes in third, yum. 93-07 Impreza FTW
Yes, all of the above… I’d just like to see hot wheels spend more time on other castings. I never watched this movie series to begin with so it’s just not something I’m into. I will, however buy whatever Ford GT or Porsche they happen to put out, that never gets old.
Awesome fast and furious premium cars you have and you reviewed congrats.👍 I love the fast and furious premium cars and I collect every single new one I can find.👍
I have 3 suggestions of what I would like to see. They should do a giant package release of every single fast & furious car released, and also do a giant package release of every single Batman car ever released. I also would like to see Hotwheels getting back to doing more flames on their hot wheels
I can understand some of the hate, I’ll agree that the repeats get annoying but it does help newer collectors that missed out. But personally I like this series, we have had so many amazing new castings that have come from these sets. Plus some of the releases are perfect versions of the car that can easily be separated from fast and furious
I really don’t care if the keep doing releases aslong it has one good new casting or basic turned premium. It’s also really cool to run into them from time to time. I don’t pick them up but it like staring at them when I’m hunting
Imo, the Fast Rewind set as well as the swapped liveries of Skyline and Supra is good enough. If only they make the cars that were driven by the characters instead of straight up displayed in the background.
I’m a BIG F&F fan. Don’t like that they’re going to space but I still watch the newer movies just bc I fell in love when the first movie came out. I enjoy livery swapping, liveries put on the older versions of the car like the GTR’s, wheel variations, paint variations, iconic cars, cars with .01s-whole movie screen time, like the yellow EG Civic that’s was shown in Letty’s “funeral” in F&F4 (big Civic enthusiast here), I love repeats bc sometimes you’re just not able to get the car in the first drop & you’re not gonna pay an arm & a leg for a $7 car (Mona Lisa) & you’re able to hit the 2nd round. You gotta think about the newer collectors getting into the hobby. People complain so much for nothing. They say they milk the line but bro!!! If you already have then don’t buy it! It’s so easy to just pass on it. Why get greedy? If you already have it & are a carded collector, BOOM! You got a new card variation. Yes it would be nice to get newer castings or castings that exist already in the movie more often, but people! We do freaking get them!!! We got Vince’s Maxima, Mia’s Teggy, the s14 that Brian & Dom raced to get into Braga’s organization. I know we’ll get DK’s Z, Han’s RX7? They need to get the Veilside license just like LBWK, it’s not just a random body kit, I mean we got Han’s newer Supra so that means we’re close & it’s in their mind. Patience is a virtue!
Hopefully we see them do the Ford GT40, ‘67 Ford Mustang, Pantera (new mainline casting but premium), Impala from the new movie, Ford Fairlane from new movie, and others. There are still a lot of cool cars that haven’t been done yet. Some of been mainlines only like the GT40 and Mustang, but let’s see them go premium.
I like the F&F line and hate the movie's! But if I'm being honest it's the horrible distribution of Mattel and Hot wheels in general! Since COVID the hobby has taken a huge hit and personally I have lost my excitement for the hobby because even going every single morning for years the last 3 to 4 months have been absolutely horrible, and unfortunately I have finally hit my breaking point! It truly breaks my heart but enough is enough! I will be selling my entire collection this summer, very very sad!!! At least there's still baseball cards!!!lol!!!!
The thing is most still sell. Maybe not as well as a couple years ago but they do still sell. Even the repeats. Especially the iconic hero cars. Ones that have been released numerous times across all categories. That is the problem. People complain but yet they STILL run out there and buy them because the wheels are different or some other little thing that collectors THINK is interesting. 😏 We have a very large segment of the collecting community that does this. Not to mention the peoole who still hoard them for some reason. So mattel knows all this and will keep making them as long as people buy them. I personally do not. I stopped buying any Fast and Furious merchandise after the God awful 7th film. It was one of my favorite series up to the 6th film. I didnt mind them getting a bit over the top but the last 4 films have gone to a level of stupidity i never thought I would see. So i have a distaste now for any of the merchandise. Actually Even if i still loved the films i would not be buying any of rhe FF stuff. 😂
No idea why you think we need the f+f licence for new casting. We get new castings through every line and no other line takes the pi$$ out of consumers as much as this. Lots if cars that few want because they make a micro appearance in a dreadful movie and multiple repeats. It needs to be dropping as it stimies creative freedom and you end up with tacky crossover rubbish. A large number of the new toolings and designs could have quite easily have appeared elsewhere. It's like you are telling us that without f+f we wouldn't have ever had many of these castings which just doesn't feel right. It's done, they need to drop it and develop a new series.
model inaccunracies like Porsche 718 Cayman didn't exist in 2009 (the movie uses 987 yet they had 987 model but not retooled), and the car looks more like 981 than 718
It’s disappointing that we haven’t seen this new Nova casting (a brilliant one at that) outside of Fast and Furious. I say keep it clean and let’s see it in other colors. Yes, let’s see it in Car Culture with the Chevelle, Bel Air, Impala, etc. A Car Culture set like that would be 🔥🔥 18:08
Alot of brands 1/64 is coming out with the ideas of putting them Fast and Furious decos on wrong cars, and people are buying them. There is always going to be cry baby's out there that don't like this and that but yet i bet they the ones that cant just leave them on the pegs for the ones that really do want them. The same goes for repeats , Am glad Mattel has been doing this as it gives others a chance to find them or buy them as prices drop on them. Still hard to find as scalpers will still take them but more means less $. What i can say that drives me crazy about Mattel is the dam exclusives to stores.
I don't mind, if I have it already, I just don't buy it. I generally buy any FF car I like - which are usually the ones without the livery. sometimes it bothers me that the card art features FF branding so prominently since I'm not a fan, but it's not a big deal.
Some are cool, some are not. There are a bunch of really great cars from the movie but sometimes they pick the weird ones people dont care about. I wish theyd mix it up a bit more, release some new castings or something or maje some of theore interesting ones. The car with the bullet holes is cool. Doms Cuban racer with no doors is cool. More of the unique stuff like that would be great. Less Land Cruisers and Hummers.
I think they remake too many of the cars. I'm fine with remakes but can we do them once a decade instead of once every other year. There are so many of those movies and so many cars in those movies that they should just highlight the cars and not just keep remaking them with a different card attached. And I think there are just too many of The fast and furious sets it's not just one it's like a bunch every year. So maybe they should just make a few less sets and replace them with something else that people can get excited about. I think people just have an opinion about it because people want to see something new not overdone.
The need to stop doing the Hero Cars and do more background cars! It’s been okay lately! Brian’s Evo and The Eclipse Spyder would be an awesome 2 pack!
i liked this video, maybe you could do a most disappointing Fast and Furious premium cars. Hot Wheels disappointed me on several of their cars like small wheels that don't fit the casting right.
Is this video genuinely asking the question or just lobbying to us dumb peasants why we should still keep paying a billion dollar corporation for things we don't want?
They just came off as low effort to me. A majority of the castings arent anywhere near the movie counterparts that had different bodykits and mods on them. Hot wheels takes a generic stock casting they have and slap the decals on it.
The fast and furious line gave us the best chevy nova casting, then gave it to us in the exact same deco 3 times.Theyve done good cars but theyve kind of warn out thier welcome
it's easy to not buy because i had probably only watched 2 of the Fast and Furious Series and totally got sick of the script which is also Mattel's script now
I personally really like the repeats because it give me and other collectors a chance to get some cool cars that they have missed in the past. But it sometimes get annoying when they have release that same bmw with teal wheels like 5 times but I don’t mind it that much
Not everyone had a chance to buy example : 1 car that sold out once it hits the pegs gives other people to grab them instead of paying resell price for them
That would be perfect if it was the popular cars that were repeated. But it's the unwanted "case filler" that gets repeated even though it never sold the first time.
