Thank you!! We try to go as in depth as possible to help people who watch the video understand as much as they can about the mouse without needing to buy it first!
I must say LOVE your style of review videos. You talk about pretty much every small detail with no unnecessary words and very clean graphics. I'm surprised you only have 1.4k, subscribers, if you continue like this I'm convinced hundreds of thousands people will subscribe to your channel, that quality is just insane
This review alone made my order the mouse. Great review. Very thorough and well made. Loved that you included the recommendations for different grip styles. Loved the straight to the point style. Other channels should learn from you guys. Great job! Can't wait to get my copy.
yeah I love the weight and the shape I think the only thing I don't like about it is the little ridge things that stick out on the outside edges of the buttons. they get in the way a bit for butterfly clicking, but by now I'm mostly used to it
I never really loved the dav, it felt too clunky for me. The thorn is so much more usable if not actually good for me I'm really impressed with it. It's certainly my favorite true ergo (not counting sutle ergos like the z1 pro)
Thank you! I’d say these clicks are a bit heavier than Logitech Omrons and Huanos on Zowie mice, but a bit lighter than Huanos on other Lamzu mice, and significantly lighter than most Kailh switch implementations. Overall similar in weight to Razer Opticals as well as Omron 20Ms on Glorious mice, but have a nicer tactility and really good tensioning. I should probably add this into the video for the future lol
Thanks! And yes you should that would truly make your videos stand out. They are already one of the best in terms of condensing everything important into a short format.@@minemouse
Iv never seen this mouse before! At 60-70 bucks it seems a little steep for what seems to be on par with the many $50 mechkeys mice, and is a bit heavier than some, but 62g is still a respectable weight. I'm willing to give it a try. I'll reach out to them and see about getting a review sample. Thanks for putting it on my radar!
Actually on closer inspection I'm 97% sure that's just a rebranded ajazz aj199. Which you can get for under $40 on newegg rn. It's probably a much better value just to get that. Here's a link to aim adapt's review on it: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yjiDeQNyF9k.htmlsi=mj6Z_CMuQ2J95V8m
I currently have a GPro Wireless that is on the brink of breaking. Got myself a Xtrfy M4 (wired) on sale to try out a different shape but the wire is a bit annoying to me, and my cats love to play with it. I'm quite enjoying both and don't mind trying a different shape. How would you compare it to the M4? I guess I have a relaxed claw grip with ~19 by 10cm hands
Super exited, ordered it to finally replace G Pro Wireless.. Pulsar XLite 2 Competition edition was a disappointment unfortunately and sold it. Nice review mate.
Thank you! I am hoping to review the Delux M800 4K at some point, I'll just have to figure out how to get a unit as Delux kinda donowalled us lol. We will probably take a look at the X2V2 at some point, though the X2-H as we already have units on the way!
@@minemouse NOICE! the x2h should perform the same as the x2v2 so that's awesome to hear. shame about deluxe but at least it is on the radar so it is what it is lol
Great video, I have a suggestion to cut your nails since you have ti show your hands and it might turn off some people from watching the video (no hate)
Heyyyy fam, absolutely loved the review. I currently use a viper ultimate and started palm gripping the mouse but my pinky is completely numb and I’ve got cubital tunnel syndrome thanks to it now due to the right side of the mouse not suiting my hand (17x8) would you recommend this mouse for me if i wanna palm grip it with 17x8 really small hands cause I don’t wanna face the same issue on this one😅
Hello can you help me choosing a mouse please ? a tryied a mini atlantis but im not sure about size yet. Im wrist gamer, pincer claw or hybrid palm/fingertp ? 17/18x9 hands size (i have used razer abbysus, deathadder elite, xtrfy m42 and atlantis mini) shoud i stay with mini pro or thorn ? Thank you! i really like your videos, im very insecure picking a mouse i over analize
Hi there! I totally get the overanalyzing, I do that for everything XD. If you're are happy with your Atlantis Mini, I think you should stick with it as it is a great mouse. If you are not fully comfortable with the shape, I plugged your grips and hand size into this algorithm that we've been working on (devboi.pythonanywhere.com/results), and the Vaxee NP-01S is the top result, which I would definitely agree with.
I really have no idea. AFAIK most white coatings do discolor, but I could be wrong, and also this is a fairly unique coating, so there's no real way to know how it holds up long term yet.
hi MineMouse love your videos I recently I saw a video of Diamondlobby reviews about a gaming mouse that has similar specs as an endgame mouse but costing only (30-50) dollars I was just wondering can you do a review on that mouse the Darmoshark m3 any model it doesn't matter And thank you for reading Hope you doing well
It's honestly not at the top of our list. We have a lot of other mice/mousepad/keyboard content in the pipeline. I'm not going to say we're never going to review it. But you shouldn't expect a review of it any time soon, sorry!
In terms of features, both mice are fantastic, with the Thorn maybe being very slightly better in that regard. However, what matters most is how well the shape of the mice works for you, as that is very subjective.
Hello. Can you help me with choosing the best mouse for me? I use relaxed claw grip while angling my mouse towards the left My handsize is ~ 19 x 11 cm
@@JanPaweuko well not necessarily. Some people prefer ergo mice for relaxed claw, and some prefer ambi. Ambi recommendations from me would probably be the Pulsar X2V2 and Vaxee XE Wireless.
does it have on board memory? i just bought it for competition but couldnt see anything on that im sure its standard but im just double checking because i cant have softwares when competing
@@minemouse perfect that’s amazing thank you so much stoked to try it out been on an ergo mouse kick for a bit been running the deathadder v3 pro for competition and loved it but it’s broken it won’t update at all to the new drivers and rendered the 4K dongle useless :/
We asked egg for a unit over well over a month ago... we've been told I'll get back to you in 1/2 weeks like 4 times.... 😭 so honestly idk. We might just end up buying one at some point. But we have a lot of mice and other peripheral content lined up so idrk how soon the review will be
For mc double clicking its all about the debounce and not the type of switch. When switches break and double click uncontrollably that's the internal metal contacts of a mechanical switch breaking/degrading in some way. With mc "double clicks" it's the entire trigger of the mouse moving to actuate then deactuate the click rapidly. This can be done on mechanical and optical switches alike assuming the debouncing allows for such fast inputs to be registered
That amount of jitter is actually comparable to other mice I’ve tested on 1K, such as the DAV3 wired and GPX 2. I should probably add a chart from a known stable mouse for comparison in the future.
Really hard choice. If it's a complete wash I'd narrow that down to the Sora and the x2h mini. I'd say those two have a bit better build than the hts+ (I haven't used the 4k but the classic had good build but not as good as some of these new mice) however if you end up thinking ull like the hts+ shape more it dosnt have bad build by anymeans so it would still be a good buy if somthing about it pushed it infront of those other mice for you
There is pretty much no bottom flexing on the Thorn, and no bottom creaking whatsoever. If you push really hard on some of the struts, they might flex a tiny bit, but they're still extremely solid.
