Guess who's finally back!! (ﾉ´ヮ`)ﾉ*: ･ﾟ
I finally got a new laptop. But I had to re-download the episodes again, began working on a new video (a different idea to this and longer) and somehow lost all of my progress 🤦🏻‍♀️rip
Luckily, I remember everything and can start again but I wanted to get something out soon! So I chose another idea - that wouldn't take too long - and punched this out. I hope you enjoy!!

Idk if this is true but I read from some fans that the reason jingyi became so savage was because lan wangji was especially lenient to him after lan xichen remarked to him once that how naughty jingyi Was when he was young resembled the way WeiYing behaved.

@@delphinebakery Yes in the novel, Lan Zhan especially favor Shizhui and Jingyi because they remind him of Weiying. Shizhui because he's Yuan who's like Weiying adopted son & Jingyi because he remind him of young Weiying personality. In one chapter Jingyi's essay was a mess and it was error everywhere (that even Weiying was laughing out loud how disaster it is!) and yet he still gave him a Yi (B!) grade. To be honest it should've been C or D and yet he gave it a B instead. When Weiying ask what is the punishment of getting B then and Lan Zhan said 'None. Just rewrite.' LOL

@@ninamoua5439 im not sure if it literally states it that way, but im pretty sure thats what you can gather within the extra chapters,, theres a part where lwj is grading the juniors' papers and jingyi's is exactly like how wwx would write it, both of them say so, but despite the fact that it should have been given a low grade because it technically doesn't meet the requirements, he gave it a b, for which the only punishment is to rewrite the essay

When Sizhui said that "Hanguang Jun is carrying.. Liquor." and Jingyi dropped the chicken wing, that wasn't planned. Jinyi's actor dropped the chicken wing accidently. Their improv ended up being in the final thing.

Actually no, the chicken wing was supposed to fall, the same thing happened to Jingyi in Chapter 44 of the novel after seeing WeiYing’s hands bound by LanWangji’s forehead ribbon. That was the scene but yes, Sizhui putting the wing back in Jingyi’s mouth was actually improvised. 😊

The Lan Clan juniors who Lan Zhan dotes on the most are Si Zhui and Jing Yi. For Si Zhui, we all know why, it's because he's A Yuan. But for Jing Yi, it's because his personality and character traits are most similar to Wei Ying's. Lan Zhan kind of sees young Wei Ying in Jing Yi (but not in a romantic way).

Lan Jingli may be brash for a member of the Lan clan, but he's smart and very capable. What delighted me is when Jingli is telling it like it is about Su She, not one of the elders/clan leaders stopped him, not even Lan Qiren who is carefully looking elsewhere for the most of it.

If Lan sizhui is Lan Zhan and Wei Ying son.......then Lan Jingyi is Lan Huan and Jiang Cheng son.....Jingyi is like a combination of them😆 so righteous yet so grumpy....he complain a lot when he need to do something yet still do it perfectly🤭

i love lan jingyi ...his character is more interesting and hilarious in novel especially when he talks with wei ying (insulting and doubting wei ying and then realizing that he is not that bad at all)their conversation cracks me up everytime... and the actor Guo cheng played lan jingyi so accurately in live action. he is well deserved that role...

Aww me too! Because Jingyi is just like Wei Wuxian. If something's not right he just can't shut his mouth but choose to attack with his sharp tongue. Imagine when there's people who bad mouthing Lan Zhan or Sizhui and then both Wei Ying and Jingyi will defend their man by attack that person with their sharp but logic words lol 🤣🤣

They’re related tho OTL not by blood because ofc Sizhui is origjnally a Wen, but Sizhui is WWX & LWJ’s adopted son and Jingyi is blood related to the Lan clan, which means they’re technically cousins 🤣 I ship him with Jin Ling tbh.

I really love Jingyi.❤❤❤ And a big 'thank you' to LWJ for protecting Jingyi from the way too strict people in Gusu Lan sect. I mean how else would it have been possible for Jingyi to be like he is (pretty similar to WWX) if not for LWJ stoppjng these mean people from changing his character.
