I don't think the audience really Knew what happened here, AMAZING mashup, glad she let him take control, it's one of his Prize Songs. It's GORGEOUS, definitely a great vibe for her to showcase. 🖤
Kale Brecht I couldn't agree more! Not just me then!!! Memories, good and not so good, for me, but the good ones win out every time. Who's cutting up,onions?!!!
I have known Chris since before he became famous. He is still the same guy and treats everybody like they are the most important person in the world. As humble a guy as you will ever meet. The nicest guy I know.
Hopefully next year will be different 🥺 idk but I truly believe all this change and pain will be for the best. We’ve all become more aware these past few months. I can only hope it’s for the best
This guy is one of the most underrated artist but imho he really never wanted to do big concerts always kept a small menu that was his choice. He's the reincarnation of Roy Orbison and Elvis Presley Thank you Chris Isaak for your great voice 👍❤
Hell yea he is he’s the smoothest dude ever as well, he just wanted to be a tortured lovesick soul and play small intimate settings. It’s hilarious to watch him sing on interviews to female hosts. He’s like Spanish Fly haha
i kinda see Lana collaborating on this with Ville Valo -- omg their two voices!!! (and NO i am not just saying that because i have been *obsessing* over the HIM version of "Wicked Game")
The things I would do to be in that crowd. Lana del Rey and Chris Isaak are my two favorite artists ever no joke. The crowd is so lucky to have had both of them in their presence at the same time.
She has the humility to not run over him. She could have distracted from the song by blowing her pipes like a diva, but she knew it would disrespect the heartfelt ambience of this classic work, so she let Chris do his thing while supporting him as subtly as possible. That shows a level of musicianship and humanity that is rare in that world.
He is walking the tight rope . .rides the edge of almost being off key ..bending the notes using the vibrato bar to bend the notes he makes his guitar sing with him ...this man is a gift to us all ...thank you Chris we love and appreciate your incredible ❤️ talent...xoxo
I remember summer 1989 when I got the album with this song. Nobody but I knew it for a long time ... until the _Wild At Heart_ movie in late 1990 and then everyone knew it!
I love both of these artists and they've been a big part of my life. If you like vocals like at this moment I'd suggest you look up the band The Gathering. Anneke has amazing vocals as Lana and I personally love their music style and performance as well. Maybe you'll enjoy it as I have before I heard of Lana.
I saw this song live with my mom in the same arena when I was a kid... to see this live once again in the same Hollywood bowl, and my favorite artist playing with him... was so magical. Best night of my life
Bc the world is really on fire, men and women don’t exist anymore. It’s men can have babies and out compete real women. Look how sexy a real biological women can sing with a real biological man. So sexy how it’s supposed to be. People wake up. The world is doomed if this masterpiece doesn’t happen anymore. Cheers.
@@josephpereira75ur not being sensored. but ur certainly being ridiculous lmao. this has nothing to do with why they don’t play songs like this on the radio….ur just on the wrong station
I’d argue his voice is top 10 all time from any genre. Such a natural. I was a preteen when this song came out and it wasn’t my preferred genre but I never skipped it when it came on, it was just so inviting
There are no songs like these or any on earth in the Kingdom of Heaven except the worship in a choir of chorus and prayer exalting the glory of The Most High sitting on His Mercy Seat .. None from this earthly domain..
4:30 I've been waiting years to hear this, and I didn't even know it. What a beautiful pair of performers, with beautiful souls. The songs are so similar, it's gorgeous. I've always been a big fan of that song, and only today did I realize it sounds exactly like Lana! This was so cool to find. 2 Legendary Kindred souls right there.
@@Io-Io-Io I'm close Personal friends with them both. Just this morning we were discussing how ANNOYING negative people on the internet are! Lmao shutcho butt up
I’ve been there 2 years ago and it was one of the most magical days in my life at the most magical time of my life. I feel so grateful and blessed. Thank you universe for giving me this. Love you. Thank you thank you thank you
Not from this world. From out of this world! .. Chris Isaak performing his classic song Wicked Game with Lana Del Rey is a match made in heaven. Thank you so much!
! Want to listen to the crazy version of the Wiked Game song? Then watch this video with Diana Ankudinova from Russia: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7jv-DQnf2UY.html
I have seen this video before. But this is better footage from the one I saw. And it blows me away as much as the first time I saw it. I think this pairing is literally the best duet I have ever seen. They are perfectly suited. Their music has a similar dark, mysterious, retro vibe. I absolutely love it 😍
I want a recorded version of this song. The people in attendance this night were so incredibly lucky. She is ethereal and their voice absolutely compliment each other.

She has matured enormously. I think she must have had voice training but also some kind fo coaching to get over stage fright. Some of her early shows she sounded terrified.
Let’s be honest here... Chris Issak is amazing, but what is he truly known for aside from one AMAZING single? Lana is from a new generation (that loves/respects the older generations), but she has many, many more hits than Issak.
The world was on fire and no one could save me but you It's strange what desire will make foolish people do I'd never dreamed that I'd meet somebody like you And I'd never dreamed that I'd lose somebody like you No, I don't want to fall in love (this girl is only gonna break your heart) No, I don't want to fall in love (this girl is only gonna break your heart) With you With you (this girl is only gonna break your heart) What a wicked game you played to make me feel this way What a wicked thing to do to let me dream of you What a wicked thing to say you never felt this way What a wicked thing to do to make me dream of you And I don't want to fall in love (this girl is only gonna break your heart) No, I don't want to fall in love (this girl is only gonna break your heart) With you The world was on fire and no one could save me but you It's strange what desire will make foolish people do I'd never dreamed that I'd love somebody like you And I'd never dreamed that I'd lose somebody like you No, I don't want to fall in love (this girl is only gonna break your heart) No, I don't want to fall in love (this girl is only gonna break your heart) With you (this girl is only gonna break your heart) With you (this girl is only gonna break your heart) No, I (this girl is only gonna break your heart) (This girl is only gonna break your heart) Nobody loves no one
I remember my dad playing this song on the computer in his office when I was little. Used to sing along and even though I hadn't listened in awhile I remembered the words as soon as the song started.

Lana is totally fan girlling it up there you can tell she doesn't know where to look or stand. I wish the sound was better I'm sure she was killing it.
I love the times this was released listening to the radio as a kid. Now I face the beautiful heart breaking pain of singing the melody in my heart tearing up every time I'm alone.... strange what desire will make foolish people do.
@@marcellebarth7077 I am sure this is directed toward someone else ...I sense alot of heaviness and passion behind these words.are they lyrics to a song ?
@@marcellebarth7077 we can write songs through our life and dance to the rhythm our hearts sings we can survive. together face any storm under any circumstance whether calm peaceful drizzling rain or the fierce turbulence in a hurricane. Standing by me I would stand by you taking a stand to see the sky fall and mountains tumbling into the sea ....but to be away that now is a pain that I fear and face each and every day
I love how Chris continues the persona of a band from the 50's. We had the privilege of seeing him a few years ago at Billy Bob's in Fort Worth, Texas when we happened to be out there. Great show!
Omg i heard this song for the first time 2 months ago, and replayed it like 50 times lol. Loved his voice and the old timeiness sound, with the cool beat, and was thinking how much of a lana del rey feel, it had to it, and now this!! What a coincidence❤️
@@jansplace Yeah 2 months ago.. My parents were much older and never listened to him. I'm in my mid twenties, so while I was growing up, there was Britney, then bands like my chemical romance, system of a down etc. I wouldnt call me a music noob, because I never heard this song before a couple months ago. But LOL at your comment. Thanks for the laugh 😂
Remember hearing this for the first time in the David Lynch film Wild at Heart, our first date at the cinema in December 1990. My soul mate Jodie passed away last year and this song has just broken my heart to hear it again. Thank you for posting.
Amo Lana Del Rey por esses motivos.Ela nasceu na época errada gente...Olha quem ela chama pra cantar com ela!É demais pra mim.Volta anos 60,70 e 80 mas com Lana existindo.
when i first heard this song, i immediately thought of Lana because of his lyrics.. now to see my vision come to life is amazing🤩 it's even more hypnotic & powerful with her voice.
Wow, would love to hear a studio version, that builds on her vocal stylings - at the end where she just owns it - to get mood created by guitar in the original. Your so good would love to hear your voice do magic with this great song.
