Actually the song is about suicide. When she was talking about jumped off the "H" on the Hollywood sign she refers to Peg Entwistle who actually did it in 1932. Is like she was talking about her dark side in all the song, when she said "keeping me hot like July forever" is 'cause her own demons are burning deep inside her. And "take off all your clothes" I think is like being herself, taking off her mask or disguise pretending she's happy when she's not. Being the master of our fate is like we can decide when, where and how die. She took her fate, 'cause she wanted die. And "Lust for life", you know lust is something that sometimes bring you to the dark side of life, like adictions, money, fame, sex when that's not what you actually need. She had lust for life but that's something that doesn't last, eventually she started get boring or depressing thinking in life like a prison and she wanna be free of her own lust. "Green lights forever" green represented freedom, she decided be free and jumped off, leaving life behind.
