This song must be my favorite Lana song.. It reminds me of my grandmother who loved swans. She passed away last November, and I still can't get over it. I kept listening to this song and all of Lana's songs, which actually helped me not falling in a total depression. Also, the line "why work so hard when you could just be free" makes me think about how hard my grandmother fought to live and to be there for her daughters and grandchildren when she only wanted to die. She was very sick, she had multiple sclerosis since age 30 but she fought until 76. The strongest woman I've ever known. I loved, I love and I'll love her forever.

This is ultimately my favourite Lana song. It's been soon two years, and I'm still listening to this all the time. It has such a deep meaning to me. I'm all goose-bumped by this song! A true masterpiece. Even the instrumental sounds like sonic magic.
