*Gettin' spoiled with your consistent LEGACY videos!!! Every time I get a PiLOT STEVE notification... Big Smile on my Face!!!* I've been pondering your HEAT issue on climb out... Your Legacy does have a modified cowl and air inlets versus the standard round ones. Wondering if your bigger trapezoid style openings are as efficient and also how different the baffling was modified vs standard to work in the turbo mod. Are there blankets on the turbos? What are the individual cylinder temps like? I wanna put in a big request for some outside footage of your Legacy when you can🤞😊🤞... fly by's, mid field breaks, takeoffs/landings, taxiing... I could go on and on! 🤪 Enjoying the rides!!! Keep 'em coming!!!
Thanks for sharing your flight with us specifically showing the six pack overlay. I just happen to fly with my friend for breakfast yesterday in his Lancair ES with fix gears and his plane was doing 160 Kts at 3500 feet with 55% power by the way the fuel consumption was only 10.5 gph with LOP.
I have a questair venture I am getting up to date on condition inspection, as soon as I have that complete, I will try to do the same video so we can compare. I believe I will get a better fuel burn, but my take off field elevation is 5,800 ft so it won't be apples to apples.
Steve please put me on the list for one of your old panels. If you feel like parting with them both let me know how much. They would make a great back up for my current same panels I have. And yes a great video as always.
