People's rhetoric about Lance Armstrong show how misinformed they are about the life of a pro cyclist. It's just their uneducated opinions they have collected from media attention. Make your ignorant comments because you could never have done even a miniscule amount of work he did on the bike and off.
Lots of pro riders took, and probably still take performance enhancing drugs. The trouble with Lance he was so vindictive towards anyone that dared to infer that he took drugs during his years of denial, he would threaten them with court action etc. He got exactly what he deserved imho.
Mr. Williams was a gift to a generation. Even excellence can get too familiar, which triggers a change of taste in society also known as fashion. Some artists just cannot accept that their style is no longer in fashion. I loved Robin but did not watch his last TV show, not even once. I just could not imagine that he needed other actors around to be funny. Lance on the other hand made the impossible possible. He raised the price of bicycles. He created a bicycle industry that made the sport out of reach for most people. He created superman on two wheels and the average yuppie loved him. You created Lance. It was too good to be true but you wanted it to be true. Lance should return the money and start a new life where he can make his own money without manipulating emotions for donations. I have a bicycle innovation that I would like him to test and promote for rich and poor people. It is not too late for him to redeem himself with bicycles that he knows best. I promise that if he promotes generating electricity with a bicycle, even the French people will someday send him an official invitation. He should also give some money to the riders who came second place while he was in first place. I heard him say that they were also cheating, but he must know one or two who deserved to be crowned winners. Armstrong should keep on moving in the right direction with a strong heart but not a strong arm. People that are in the dark could use some bicycle generated electricity that can be stored in a flat triangular battery pack that fits between the legs of the rider. Commuting on a bicycle will also produce electricity for light and communication at your destination. It is only half-time in this long life of yours superman!
