GMS should be treated like the Kalashnikov group of rifles. There are bigger, cooler guns and munitions out there, sure, but sometimes you just need something that is adaptable, easy to run and manufacture. Many paramilitary and military groups use them because they work as intended. They don't give them out for free, more like a "buy-one-get-one-free" type deal.
