This is literally what i'm doing with mine right now. At the moment it's a bare shell needing sandblasting and paint. Already rebuilt my engine, transmission, and restored all underbody parts.
@@vetlogmobaho703 these engines had a somehow weak crankshaft, but to say the least they are still Evo engines and very robust and powerful as compared to any of the Lancer CK engines!
This is an awesome build indeed! I'm currently doing a similar build but for an Evo 6. I'm done with the body and want to progress to the Engine and transmission including the rear differential and driveshafts. Where can I source these parts and for how much?
My god! The upper A control arm up front is a load bearing part, you can't just use to small bolts to hold it to body! They usually need a lot stronger fasteners and strong reinforced body metal to mount on.
what are you talking about? all bolts used are standard and all came from the halfcut unit. no other bolts used we followed the catalogue on what size and followed all bolts bolts that came from the halfcut ulit. so we can’t be wrong.
and we know evos for sure. we are not handling just assembled ones. we have lots of original chassis we handled from our previous customers too. So we would know what’s the right bolt to use.
