THEIR RELSTIONSHIP WAS ESTABLISH THE DAY JOHNNY PASS OUT AND WAS FOUND BY JELLY SELF MADE FAMILY. JOHNNY INTRODUCE HIMSELF AS A DRIFTER INSTEAD OF SAYING "HI MY NAME IS JOHNNY LANCER". ALL THE KIDS, KNEW WAS JOHNNY. THE LOVE & COMPASSION THAT JOHNNY HAVE FOR JELLY IS THAT OF AN CROTCHETY UNCLE. THE REST OF THE FAMILY SAW IN JELLY WHAT JOHNNY SAW. A SPECIAL HUMAN BEING. Someone said Jelly saw in Johnny a grown-up version of the homeless kids he was taking care of. I do like Jelly, just get sick of seeing that plaid shirt and patched vest in every episode!
