Thank you so much for this. I am 52 and I, like you, received either Lancome or the Estee Lauder blockbuster growing up. My mom still gives me one for Christmas every year because I still love them. I think I want the Lancome this year, The colors and packaging speak to me. I am a huge Lancome perfume lover too. I also may get the Estee lauder too, what the heck. I love the Merit lip set I just got and tend to wear brands like that on a daily basis, but I still love Lancome.
I just picked up the Estee Lauder set, and will have the review up on Friday. The Lancome set is so good this year, the only thing I wish was different is the bag. I really like the Estee Lauder bag this year, and the Lancome one seems inelegant. : ( I still enjoy getting these boxes, and use the skincare items up by mid year. So excited you reviewed this. These sets are nostalgic to me too. I worked in college in Macy's and remember these types of kits - I grew up mostly with Clinique, Estee Lauder & Lancome. I loved the Borghese kits too (remember the mud?). I bought this one last year & it's worth it. I only wish they would have changed the bag.

@@dianereiser6417 thanks so much, I really love this matte formula. Very comfortable. I wish they had a shade for me in the radiant foundation. That formula doesn't go light enough. I can't wear the matte one anymore, it just makes me look old. 😭

Love these kits!! Definitely a lot of value and a way to try all products. The serums alone is worth the price , so it’s like getting everything else for free. Although I miss that this year they didn’t have the blushes like last year. Definitely love the kits! Thank you , just found you on here😊

I like getting an eye palette that's full of easy, wearable shades, and I prefer the slim line packaging of the palette more than what they had last year.
I ordered this set as soon as it was available on Lancôme’s website. It’s an amazing deal!!!! I only tried the perfume and the lipstick so far and both are great. Excited to try the shadow after seeing how great it looks on you.

The palette looks really lovely this year. In the UK we get the Hypnose mascara instead and a second lipstick. I wish I could get your set. I really like that mascara and not a fan of Hypnose. We have a pretty rosey pink lipstick and the same nude as you. It's a nice idea to have 2 lip colours for variety. But we have to pay a lot more money for the set for whatever reason so it's not the same good deal if you don't like all the items.

Always enjoy your reviews for the Lancome Holiday Beauty Box each year. I've noticed that in Europe we get a slightly different version. Instead of the Creme Radiance we get the Tonique Confort. And instead of the mascara Definicils and Booster we get the Hypnose mascara and an additional full size Rouge Creme lipstick 06 - Rose Nu. There's also a mini 15ml size of the Renergie Multi Lift Nuit and mini size Genifique serum. I wonder what box you would have preferred!

Still love going to department stores and checking out blockbusters from Lancome and Estée Lauder. They are still great treats during the Christmas season! Please continue to review them as there are hardly reviewed on RU-vid. The Lancome set this year is calling to me and would like to purchase it later when my local store runs a sale!

Goody, I’ve been waiting for this Holiday set just wish they would have come up with a different case, this is the same as last year’s. I usually get 2 of them just for the serum, so worth it.❤

It’s my 3rd year in a row getting this gift box from Lancôme, it’s so hard to pass 🙈 But when I think about all the products that I actually use and how much money I can save, I can’t resist 🤩 Just need to find more space for the cases in my wardrobe 😂

@thelipstickgal yes the deal on this Lancome set is much better in the US than here in Europe. I have checked, and we can only purchase this on its own, and it is 150 euro. So I think if you like Lancome and the products that are in there, is still good value for money even here in Europe. ( I feel like holiday deals in the US are always more spectacular with skincare and makeup)
Robert Cook, during his presentation on HSN, says the palette is not an eyeshadow palette... It's a *color* palette. It also contains blush, bronzer, contour, highlighter, eyeliner and eyebrow colors. So, *experiment* ! 😀
I remember really being intrigued with this long comb set last year, after watching your video. I’m not a box, set, holiday, set person, but I do love all the holiday launches, L O L. I like some Lancome lipsticks, and have yet to really dive into their mars, but I’m not really into this brand too much so this might be a good way to dabble my toes into it. So far I’ve brought the two Merit Holiday sets, and one of the inn beauty project lip sets. I know I won’t stop there though lol. I am interested in seeing the Este Lauder box.
@@QuinceyG I think this year I'm likely to prefer the makeup and the Lancome box and the skin Care in the Estee Lauder box. I tend to reach for more Estee Lauder for skin care. The fragrance of Lancome products cause my skin and eyelids irritation. I love their lipliners and eyeliners but can't wear them because of the irritations. Same with shadows. So sad about that.
