The low register of the marimba is what makes the instrument for me. The satisfying feeling of sinking into those sonorous low keys is something this video brought back to me, not having the chance to play marimba anymore. Thanks for this performance, and the others on your channel. Another thing I picked up on watching this is the importance of elbow/shoulder movement in order to get proper angles for the dual mallet technique. I'd never really noticed before the contortions needed to hit both the 'black' and 'white' keys at once. Thanks again! This brought back memories.
