I love how clean that garage is, amazing to have that much room. Feel for you working by yourself, know the feeling all too well. Just did O2 sensors upstream in my LX470, took about 100 miles for the settings to mature but can tell a difference. My heart went out to you with the ease with which that fill plug was removed. Looking forward to seeing you wrench some more on the 100 series. Grabbed my grease gun after watching this video. Mark in DFW.
All things considered dropping the diff wasn’t too bad. If I was doing bushings and seals at same time again I’d probably still do it this way now that I’ve done it.
Great video.. need to take out my front diff to replace the rear seal which is leaking.. and likely after getting the differential out I need to replace the differential bushings.
Hello, how did you remove the rear mount on that front diff? I was struggling and could not take it off.. i tried breaker bar and an impact wrench.. i decided to leave it there and manuever the diff out instead.. Did you loosen the bolt on the bottom or the nut on top? Thanks
