Rewatching all of the monopoly episodes in a row in 2023 and I love the head canon that Danny created for himself that Arin is a cutthroat, ruthless, swindling monopoly player. In reality, Arin is almost always super fair in his trades, while Danny bleeds Arin dry and laughs at his suffering.

How to beat either Dan or Arin at monopoly 100% of the time: Auction every single property you land on. Forcing them to buy it for a higher price. They will run out of cash *very* quickly. When they are out of cash, you *still* auction properties. But now you bid just over how much they have, and get the property for a fraction of the cost. Combine this with the monopoly on houses trick and they'll have an absolutely miserable 75 minutes of their life.

It is so upsetting that Arin can see that he's 5/10 on landing on the Go tile, and not 1/3 on playing the haunted board.

I was really hoping they wouldn't just start mortgaging properties early again. Last time took forever because no one was making or losing money. Plus, it was aesthetically depressing because it's this beautiful and fun amusement park city and they turned it into nothing but vacant lots and broken dreams.

For those who are curious and forgive me if someone already answered in the comments. But the difference between Chance and Community Chest are: Chance has the ability to transport you (e.g. go to states avenue) you may have a chance at buying that property but there's also a chance that someone else owns that property and you owe them money. Community Chest is more about giving or taking money (e.g. bank error gain 200 or doctors fee pay 150) Chance can give or take money but it's in smaller amounts compared to Community Chest. both have the ability to send you to jail or get you out of jail and both can make you pay for repairs on all properties but chance is cheaper with repairs.
