@@PaulArcher Land registry C Charges Register says: Registerd charge dated 12/11/2020 by Lloyds TSB. I am in a process of buying this property. How can i ensure the seller settle this charge before completion? I assume seller secured a loan against this property. Can a seller even sell without settling this, or it can be passed on? Appreciate your help.
@@1234london1982 That's why you employ a lawyer to do the conveyancing for you. In the contract of sale, any charges are redeemed or cleared before you complete. Any lender that you have used for a mortgage will also require the property is unencumbered i.e. no mortgage
