Well It sounds to me like the Carburettor could do with a fettle 👂🏻 🎶 , Anyway loved watching your video 👍🏻🇬🇧( is the choke out or it’s running a bit rich 🤔 )
Sarah has such a contagious laugh. You just can’t help yourself once you hear Sarah giggling . Such a lovely, genuine, down to earth, female you could ever meet
Haha enjoyable watching you two bobbing about inside that Land-rover. Looks fun if a little uncomfortable! Thought Crabbers was going to take you on a Forest Safari at one point 😂
Ive had 2 1951 80” landies 1 as a proper 1.6 original the second was a v8 full cage coil sprung monster , also had a 1970 series 2A lwb safari and 6 Range Rovers inc my present SV Autobiography 5.0 😊😊
I had a '62 SWB 88" as my everyday transport for years. No synchro between first and second so you had to double clutch. I think you left the choke on when you were trying to start it, as noted by the black smoke, my starter packed up and for a few weeks until i fixed it I started it with the crankhandle, normally first swing and it was away.
One big problem now is for those people that need a basic, rugged, 4x4 go anywhere vehicle that’s going to last over 50years…….where do they go now for something that fits the bill ?
I hate it when folks will call a series landie a jeep or a defender , ive watched a vid on here that said the “defender” started in 1947 NO IT DIDNT . I dont blame him for getting out lol as much as i fancy Sarah , still fit as a butchers dog hun ❤❤😊😊😊😊
Not the most comfortable or easy to drive forms of transport. No power steering on the early samples makes them as heavy to drive as a Lada! I have only attempted to drive a later long wheel base one and was not very good with it. You both have done well to drive it at all.🙂👍💗
