Awesome.. With the weather and the covid situation I have had little time to do any work. However, I have a bet with my daughter that it'll be ready by her birthday. There is £100 riding on this.. :-)
This was a great account, I like the live "powerpoint" style! I have also recently got my Series 3 registered as an Historic Vehicle and am waiting for that first drive. A long time ago a Landrover enthusiast advised me to get a lightweight and looking at the prices on Ebay now I'm kicking myself! Still great to have a classic Landrover and can't wait to join you on the road, look out!
Many thanks.. Yeah we got hold of the Lightweight almost by accident, as we were looking for a replacement engine from a donor LR. When we got it the chassis was shot, hence the low price. However, like you say, the Lightweights hold their value and so it became a project of its own..
