A classic rot box. Nice model (I have a 109, same age) and like mine, this will need a new chassis.

Rebuilding a s2 petrol would have cost me 500 for shells for the mains and big ends.( . 1/8 “smaller than series 2a3 )Then engine out , rebore new pistons rings, unleaded head. 1500 quid plus and I’ve still got a thirsty under powered 109. Unfortunately there was no competition! I love my 200 tdi conversion
