Great videos. I'm in Cairns at the end of this month and I'll be doing some fishing off the beaches and estuaries. My question is how do you avoid/be vigilant of crocs. You don't seem to be all that worried in many of your videos😄
Thanks mate. I just don't go near the waters edge if I can't see the bottom. It's probs hard to tell in the vids but there is always shallow water in front of me
Thanks mate! I'm no expert, but I only get barra on the big tides when water is pumping. Around Cairns I only fish if there is a difference of at least 2m between high and low tide. Look for areas where the water is pumping (like a creek mouth) and creating little eddies. Fish those eddies 😁
Hey mate I’ve just moved here and been flicking lures the last 4 days not even a sniff, anywhere else in qld I do well, but cairns is doing my head in. Is this at a mouth of a creek or something?
@broomstickfishing thought it was just me successfully catch fish In nsw like Jewies n stuff but yeah just can't nut it out ...persistent Lil fucker but lol time on the water key .like I'm only going for short sessions at peak times so yeah it's gotta be coming cabt wait to catch a barra i reckon I'll scream
