i love the sound of the flight attendant speaking once you've landed :) makes me want to cry as i miss Greece but i'm going in 2 weeks yay;) with Thomson aswell to Kos
@oliverjumelle - thats one of the arrival procedures into Corfu when landing on 35 - You fly over the airport at 4,000ft to the KEK VOR then make a right turn onto the approach.
@sambo734 hmm you could buy/rent a house over there and just go over for a few months at a time? and if you're joining the RAF wouldn't you need to be in the UK?
No it wasn't cold. it was about 25°C during the day and about 15° at night every day for the week we were there. I think it was worth going. we're going back in summer 2009
wow... watching this again really got to me. I live in England, have all my life. But every year we go out there... It feels like home. At some point my parants are hoping to live out there after my brother has finished secondry school. We have the options to go, or stay... I want to go. But, i don't want to leave all my friends and family behind. We have close greek friends out there what are like family, so, moving country, is a touch choice. What should I do!? :/
@TheMarabouStork Yeah that's the one big problem. I'd love to join the RAF but like you say, I'd have to stay in the UK. I could live out there, and then come over to England every few months... But it's all down to money... Hmm. If I stick to the RAF I'll barely get chance to go out to Corfu. But theIf I live in Corfu... Bye bye RAF. I take it all back when I use to say "I can't wait to grow up". Everything was so much easier as a kid haha.
