Cool Shots guys. Mud on the wings. Reminds me of a day when my Hummer ran out of gas. Coming home from a Dawn patrol. Landed in a short & low cow pasture. Went & got gas. Flu out just cutting off the corn tops with my gear. Got back home & had cow poo all over the wings. Stinky it was.

Great video. I went flying with Ty and Roland today, but it was nothing like your video. I only have about 55 or so hours in my Kitfox 5, but I think with 550 hours in it, I still won't be doing that kind of stuff.

Scott, Ty, please be careful doing your river runs. Stories are legendary about planes hitting high tension wires strung across rivers. Hopefully they're all charted; but I wouldn't count on that. So you both have IV's? What motor does Ty have? Stinson guy.

We are super familiar with all the canyons we run like this. It’s a recipe for disaster running a canyon low with out familiarity. Ty runs the 912UL 80hp and I have the 912 ULS 100hp

You mentioned in your last video about a walk around on upgrades on these model IV's. I'm waiting, am patient, but I have a need. I'm curious on the pros and cons your grove gear over Ty's gear. Ty's gear appears to be the bush - cabane from Kitfox. Three questions; is Ty's gear from Kitfox, and 2) is it wider than your grove, and 3) any pros and cons you would like to share?

It will happen very soon, Ty’s fear is a custom Rodgers gear non cabane, not sure on the width vs grove. Stand by. I am going with a shock monster custom gear in about two weeks, video to follow

Hi, a question from a guy who has no experience with flying other than as a passenger in commercial airplanes: what's the reason why you don't see rear wheels with a size more comparable to the ones in the front? I understand that they don't take as much abuse during take-offs and landings, and that a bigger wheel causes more air-drag, but is it other reasons for such a small wheel in the back?

Nice vid Scott. Are you happy with your current main gear setup? I have a Kitfox with Grove tricycle gear and want to convert but not sure I want to spend lots of $$on new gear and shocks.

Funny you should ask, The grove is good and strong but makes for a bouncy landing, I am installing bush gear with TK1 shocks in the very near future

My Kitfox started life as a grove tricycle , We did the switch to tailwheel when we bought it. I was happy with grove and flew it into a lot of off airport spots. I am just looking for slightly less bounce when dropping it in, and rough landing areas.

I am working on getting more cameras and a way to capture the cockpit audio to a go pro. That is going to make the editing life more difficult, but I want to deliver better content for you guys
