Enjoyed the video, I have talked with some owners of the seaman and have been looking at purchasing one. I would love to talk to you about yours and get your perspective on the Seamax.
I’ve been researching amphibious LSA aircraft since flying a CTLS on floats a while back. My big issue is that my left leg only bends 12 degrees, so getting in and out is something to consider. I’ve become an official Snowbird residing in the Wesley Chapel area. X39 North Tampa is two miles away from our RV and it has become my 2nd home. We live in Western NY in our cottage on the Lake Ontario shoreline in the summer, where I would fly in with the Flight Design. I’m am looking to purchase a “fun” amphib and would like to get a flight in the Seamax this fall, or earlier depending on my flights back and forth with the Beech Sierra to see 1st hand if this AC would and could fit my bill. Looking forward to a response from you regarding setting something up in the future. Thank you and safe flights.
Well I’m not a Seamax dealer by any means. But look up my bio and give me a phone call. I instruct for Seamax buyer as I am one of 2 flight instructors with Seamax time. I can direct you to the dealer in Delano and they can get you a demo flight.
Thank you getting back to me so quickly. I’ve contacted the Seamax website with a few pertinent questions and am waiting to also hear back from them. I will contact you shortly. Looking forward to chatting with you. I really enjoy your videos which are very informative.
Yeah its incredibly sad, He was a great pilot and one of my students and friends. There is a lot of information coming out about the manufacturer. more information to come about that accident.
Rad! Horrible music, but great content. I’m guessing that you not doing salt water is to avoid plane cancer…….. wonder how it would hold up in salt water………
