As a photographer myself I'm loving watching what you're doing. I visited Canada and Moose Jaw with my mum back in 2006 doing over 3000 miles in the three weeks we were there. Visiting Calgary for the stampede at the end of July. We then went on to Moose Jaw, Edmonton, then the Rockies and Vancouver. Unfortunately my mum passed away at the end of 2019 but your videos have put a smile on my face in the memories. Thank you. 👍

Thank you very much for the lovely note. I am sorry about your mum, but that trip you described with her just put a smile on my face, and I am glad you have had that time with her. Thank you for watching. Peace!

@@toddkorolphoto It's unfortunate but the circle of life will always happen. Please keep providing your content because it's wonderful to watch 👍 (Especially the large and medium format, may it forever continue) Thanks for the message 👍

Waving from northern Iraq. Not at all desert here, but already too warm at night to sleep without a fan. Never experienced a Sask winter (a few decades of Ont winters can't compare). But grateful for seeing it through your eyes today.

Wonderful! Reminds me of when my Rolleiflex was frozen to the tripod and I couldn't get it off anymore. Still, it performed great at the low temperatures.

@@toddkorolphoto I hear you. It sure felt like a long one. We’d one of our wettest springs which made if difficult to enjoy the outdoors. Canada is so beautiful. Excited to be back someday.

Hello Todd, excellent set of Rollei images in spite of the cold. I pulled out mine recently, a bit of a change up from the 'Blad 500. I also love the wonderful understated humor in your videos. Mack the moose! 😊Oh by the way, based on a passing comment from an earlier Rollei video, I contacted Gary C, and he fixed a vintage Nikkormat (film advance slippage). Thanks for the tip! Take care.

Odd that this should pop-up on my RU-vid feed, I'm currently in the west Highlands of Scotland with my Rolleiflex. No snow here, apart from some on the peaks of the higher mountains. I've been trying out Kodak Gold 200 instead of my usual Ilford FP4 or HP5. It's always good to see some examples of 'flex's in action.

Excellent explanations, best videos and beautiful photography. I have started following you when I was looking for information about the X2D. Could you give me your opinion? For "calm" photography: some street scenes, landscape and architecture; Initially I opted for the M11, but there are many people who are disappointed and with several camera changes and now I fall in love with the X2D. I am an advanced hobbyist, from my own development lab, until I went digital. From 6x6 to FF, with Bronica, Nikon and now Sony with Zeiss lenses (I love manual Loxia). Why would you choose Leica M11 or Hasselblad X2D 100C? - Thanks in advance from Canary Islands -
@toddkorolphoto
@toddkorolphoto Год назад
Thanks very much. For just street photography I would do the M11. The X2D is great for a lot of stuff, especially landscapes, architecture, city photography. It would a little slower than the M11 for street work.
@Paco_TG

@@toddkorolphoto thanks for your time. Yes, totally agree but the failures of the M11 made me stop dead. I will continue investigating. greetings

All sorts of angles in the Fysh Drugs photo, thanks to square format. In cold that severe, do you find the shutter slows any?
