Got this board a few weeks ago, 6ft 4in 165lbs and it is very comfortable to ride. Got some bear gen 6 with 95a bushings and some 83a 63mm ez hawg slides. Supper fun board

It’s my favorite board so far. It handles heavy people pretty well. I’ve been sending it regularly as a 220 guy. But yeah the board chips really easily. Doesn’t delam but if you crash it into a curb it chips instantly

Saw a bunch of reviews and Bought this recently for the Broadway Bomb in NY last weekend. Swapped out for purple fatty hawgs, riptide cups, kept the bear 40s. Also purple Otang nipple bushings. Love this thing. Pushed around Manhattan after the rains dried up last Sunday, after the Bomb race was finished, and everyone headed to the skate park. I just pushed around downtown Manhattan again. Just a lot of fun although it is a big board. Well worth retail price. Your review was spot on. thx

I found this board second hand online, paid 1/3rd the price and I’m loving it

I’ve had this board since around August of last year and it’s been great. It was my first longboard and It’s been hard to find another board that feels as comfortable as the Freedive. The construction of the board feels really sturdy and I also enjoy that the graphic is under fiberglass. Weirdly enough though the nose of my board looks almost exactly the same as yours after I slammed into a curb. I think you’re right about the shape of the nose affecting impact absorption.

how would you compare it to the latest edition (bamboo) mini-frog? the frog is a little longer. 25” wheelbase. i’m riding one and loving it.

Mine got ran over by a car, and after some wood glue, still totally rideable.

I like to have my front foot over my front truck a little. Is there room on the front flush mount to Re-drill the wheelbase to a shorter lenth?

Getting back into long boarding after a long break. The tech is different now, top mounts with narrower slalom trucks. If I was to get this board and set it up for equal parts downhill and freeride, any recommendations on truck type and width? I’m really liking the look of those Bear Gen 6s

How stiff is the board? I need mine with some flex

Can I put a leash on it? I hate when the board keeps rolling fast or shooting crAzy when you bail. I worry I might hit a park car or a incoming vehicles or people. 🤣

How would you compare this with the Comet Cruiser? You also really liked that one.

Would that be great for an adult girl beginner?
