The angry/ignorant man merely asked if he needed to pull a badge out, possibly _implying_ he had something to do with law enforcement. His intimidation attempt clearly didn't work. But then, was it just intimidation? Watch again and see if you can't detect if Dumb-dumb's badge comment might not be a possible _warning_ that those bikers might also be pissing off some plain clothes cops who simply weren't there! Just one example might be your vehicle's "badge" which might say something like "Honda" or even _Prius!_ And it's not like you can't buy a toy badge or get a sticker badge from certain cops either. Again, words and context mean everything. Not that I disagree with the conclusion that arrogant road-raged Ken's and Karen's should be called out for their arrogant crap. It's the inability to pay attention to details and then use those _assumptions_ that seems to bug me. That kind of crap (thinking) is _everywhere_ and it needs to stop! I absolutely agree that road-raged-retards are wrong. But to rely on an assumption (which might as well be a lie) to make the argument is also wrong. IOW, if you're going to be right then be right for the right reason(s). So to say "yes indeed" that some idiot should produce a badge that he never really/actually said he had, I mean, WTF?! In case I'm (still) not clear, Mister out-of-uniform "Ken" there is absolutely an idiot to _imply_ he had _any_ sort of elevated authority. Clearly, that was wrong. But then comes the _context_ part where we really don't know what those bikers did to enrage another arrogant motorist. Frankly, I don't like clips where _both_ sides can't be witnessed. If anyone really wanted to be fair then the entire incident needs to be shown from the beginning -- not the middle. (My condemnation for "Ken" would probably still remain but might be significantly reduced if I learned he was antagonized or possibly even assaulted by those bikers.)

Call the police because this is technically kidnapping, attempting to prevent them from leaving. No need to escalate by revving, that's dumb.

Don't hang on to the bike. Wore his leathers out way more than necessary and could have pulled him into something dangerous. Let it go.

I was taught to let go of the bike so there is less chance of ending up as the filling in a bike/wall sandwich. You also stop faster if you aren't hanging onto a big lump of metal.

I think he held on to his bike, to try and slow it down and not risk it falling over the edge of the cliff. Just a reflex.

Hi. I realised as he pulled away what he was trying to do. I still think he left it a bit late to pull out and could have let us pass before doing so. I'm not proud of my own reaction, although I don't believe I warranted being spat on.

@@samwolf59 In hindsight, maybe. It wasn't evident what he was doing as we approached, and since he saw us coming, it was simply unnecessary for him to pull out like that. Your advice is just as well aimed at the farmer as it is me; he could have waited 5 seconds for us to pass, instead of me waiting 30.

How wrong you are. Real men don't need to prop up their masculinity with a vehicle substitute. No I don't own a prius, just sayin', real men drive trucks but not pimped out, rather utilitarian to be able to get work done and because they're not deluded into thinking they are the cause of climate change while our elected officials pollute more with a single plane ride than a pickup will pollute in its lifetime.
