For me, it's the Blackheath over the Darklgass distortions any day! The Custard Factory sounds awesome as well, but I already have the SD Studio Bass, which I love. But I need that Blackheath!
Guys, for a next time that you will test a bunch of new pedal, is just a suggestion, put it first harmonize/octave, compressors, and the end, drive/distortion pedals, please!😅
Silver sky has changed!!!!! New neck, new frets and new pickups! Meu satin moc sand and the punk one. Not even PRS is talking about it?!?!?!? Please!!! All colors have the same specs? What about the pink spec?
Hmmm... How about a Bass Pedal that actually reproduces the Bassist's Right Thumb & fingers doing "Thump, Pop, and Slap" effects. And add Two Knobs for Attack & Decay! Why not build this? It sure would be better for the overall health protection from human hand digits injuries doing "Pop & Slap" physically. Prime Example of Injuries:. Bass Guitarist for Level 42, Mark King can testify to the bloody thumb injuries he sustained playing a live concert. He ended up wrapping his thumb with Duct Tape so the Thumb Slap protected his right hand thumb.
I think he is more talking about compressor action, with high compression and too slow a release or the wrong attack and release the sound just get crushed where you can compress the hell out of the peaks but with a short release it blooms and sounds bigger because the loudness factor is higher even if volume isn't.
