One thing I learnt about a swim that almost cooks ya in the hotter months, it makes a wicked sunny winter peg, I come back a couple of weeks ago just before it snowed (December 2022), I fished in -4 temperatures but it was lovely when the sun came up

never nice fishing in the heat or hot weather. last year I was in france (and melting in the bivvy from 6 in the morning) and this year I was in france again with some more heat ... so after returning I had a break, and next weekend Ill be off to the mighty AK (albert canal) good luck mate
