I met him at Disney Hall several years ago at a cd signing and found him to be nice and friendly.I am so happy that Gina and Lang Lang are married. I look forward to seeing him at the Hollywood Bowl Sept 15 on Disney night and maybe Gina may join him for a duet!

I love this song " 彩云追月”a lot。。。The first time I learned the song was that I had a nice treat in a local "ice cream shop" at Guangzhou. And I noticed that "彩云追月” was on their menu. And the owner told me that she loved this Cantonese folk song a lot and she actually played that in the store...Of course, I ordered this delicious ice cream treat...I remember there were 5 flavors of the ice cream to represent the colorful clouds , and the center of it was some mango and pineapple, along with some yummy waffles!!!

It is somebody else playing for you; that is what everybody else tells me. Lang is a real artist. I used to do what they are doing here with my teenage years girlfriend, all the time. I am old now, so would never be taken seriously.

By the way I am a professional so that argument falls into water. I can name you so many pianists that are better than him and i bet you woludn't know non. Art isn't about this circus he is showing. About being professional, I highly doubt, any professional knows how hard is to get at the top, where Lang Lang is, how much work and sacrifices this requires, and no professional will have any mean comments about him. Also you know nothing about piano if his tendinitis make you think is because he is not good, all great pianists have hand problems at one time or another, having 200 concerts a year is a terrible constraint for anyone 's hands.

@@Paroles_et_Musique Why didn't for example Sviatoslav Richter had hand problems than. He is the pianist that at one point in his life had more than 200 concerts a year. Not to mention that Richter was mostly self taught. Look, i know i was offensive but i am kinda allergic to this stuff at this point. And it is not because i don't like Lang Lang. I have my arguments... I feel that art is nowdays potrayed as some sort of business... With false tastes, special effects and everything... I kinda feel that nowdays pianists like Lang Lang are not getting to the core of what art should be and what it should stand for. Art is not about how fast you move your fingers, what suit you are wearing at the concert stage or false manerisms and strange unecesary movement of body that is not serving your playing, but is there to show how "talented you are". That is the kind of thing that bothers me. I WOULD HIGHLY SUGEST YOU TO WATCH DOCUMENTARY CALLED ENIGMA. IT IS ABOUT PIANIST SVIATOSLAV RICHTER... That documentary changed my life on how i view music and world in general. Richter is in my opinion the best pianist that ever lived.
