I don't want to sound harsh but there are a ton of things that are wrong in your guide :/ So here are my advices/infos about Vargas (he has been my favorite unit for a long time and the one I invested the most for a while so I'm quite passionnate about it :D) - I know the translations in this game are terrible, but please take a bit more infos before doing a guide like this : With unbreakable he transforms his Def into atk, he does not get a bit more def if he has atk. That's the reason he is so deadly to hit, when unbreakable is up, he goes up to 900+ atk (nearly the same way Ledin does with Divine Guard). And that Def into Atk ratio, is another reason why you want him to have as much def as possible (the best defense is attack, you know :p ) - You didn"t understand his passive correctly : the physical dmg reduction applies based on his % health, not the total amount of bonus hp he's got. Which means that it will be the same dmg reduction when he is at 70%, if you gave him + 2000 hp, or + 100. You want a ton of def on him to maximise his tankyness, his dmg and it's the best scaling stat he has anyway. Since he has such a poor magic res base stat, the general consensus is just to accept that he won't be able to tank magic at all, and just avoid situations where he will be the target of a mage if possible (if not, he will just revive anyway). It's nice to give him HP aswell if possible, but that's not a priority at all (give it thru enchantments, bonding, etc.). - We don't see it now, but Vargas is actually used for offense purposes later on : with his unbreakable up, he has both a super high defense and a crazy high attack which allows him to trade vs ennemies with absurd stats (like we will be facing in the higher stages of trials) with powerstab and cyclops, he actually becomes super scary and deals a ton of dmg. But that's indeed for later. - Freya vs Vargas is a no brainer tbh : Freya is cute with her fixed dmg and can work decently, but with the same gears, a Vargas will always be way better than her. He will counter way harder than her thru unbreakable, he has more mitigation tools, better stats and if things go wrong, he still comes back to save you a turn to settle things up and get back into the game. I went from an empire team to a princess one and I still have to do some weird shennanigans for the hardest map where i bring Vargas instead of Freya cuz she can't handle the same shit he does (my Vargas was top20 server for a long time, and my Freya is top 10 with the same gears, so they're decently geared for now). And Freya has a terrible weakness : if she takes too much dmg, she will lose her second barb (which is a significant amount of the dmg she can do) whereas Vargas will always do his dmg if unbreakable is up, even if he dies, he comes back with it :D- Stone colossus is fine on Vargas, but most of the time you'll be using Lava golems that have slightly better stats but a passive that's insane for every content that isn't invulnerable to fixed dmg. Sure vargas can hit HARD with his unbreakable up, but with lava golems, he just needs to be in range to deal 30% hp of the target on next turn, that's just broken. Stone colossus are worth if you're facing a map where you have to tank a ton of ennemies in the same turn. But tbh it barely happens. - Soldier wise you have many issues : You didn't even mention Tiers 3 soldiers, which are THE units everyone should aim for asap, especially since you're mentionning Stone Colossus, that are some kind of a substitute for Lava golems until you unlock them. The other lancers are heavily outshined by the Lava golems simply based on pure base stats. Adding Atk to a soldier meant to go with a tank doesn't make any sense at all. And if you need red soldiers and more offense, Cyclops are the way to go and will deal a good bunch of dmg. - For Gears and Enchantments: the focus is DEF and only Def for gears, Magic resist is irrelevant since he has such a terrible base that you won't be able to really use any of the % that you'll get, it'll still be way too low. So the idea is to ignore it pretty much if you can't have both, and go for straigth def (and Hp in the enchantemnts ofc). The melee amulet is ok but overall it's less useful that some gear that would give him def because he's already a beast vs melee attacks (except vs swordsman ofc) and this amulet will pretty much be useless vs any archer. Steel is a good enchantment but early on it's usually better to go for hard rock (it's a matter of preference tho, they're both viable) unless you've a 5/6* tiaris :D Especially since Hard rock can proc after he revived, which is extremely strong to make a come back. That being said, it's really nice to see all the guides that you provide and it will help new players to discover the units. But you need to take a bit more time to learn how his mechanics work before doing such a guide imo. Mistakes are fine, but there are a decent bunch of guides available on reddit that would help you do so. And for Vargas for example you got many things wrong so I'd really advice you to just take a look at those guides before doing yours. Good luck for your next videos :)
@IRFodder yeah she indeed can deal a decent amount of dmg with her passive before the fight, but at some point it's hard to reach high numbers. Mine does around 3k before the fight, and yeah it does soften them a bit, but when you're fighting ennemies level 60, they have soldiers with around 10k HP, and usually the melee/flyers units have at least 7k HP. So Freya won't be able to stop them with her passive. Tenacity helps tremendously but takes a long time to stack and is only useful in maps when you have the time to do so. The main issue with Freya is that at some point all the fixed dmg she has won't be able to match the mitigation tools other tanks like Vargas have. She is decent ofc, but she will really struggle to deal with many ennemies and the more hits she takes, the most likely she is to lose her fixed dmg. And that's a big design flaw (or is it intented?) for a tank to have her strength relying on her staying high in health, since their purpose is literally to take hits. Freya will do just fine until level 60 tho, she just will slowly become weaker after the 50 milestone. She is usable at 60 but honestly with the princess faction, I usually rely way more on their mobility and high range to weaken them and kill them before they even reach me, because she won't be able to tank more than 2-3 ennemies if heavy shield doesn't proc (and my Freya has full ssr gears BiS, all upgraded to max level, with ssr enchantments, and decent bonds/soldiers level so the reason she can't take it is more about game mechanics that her stats per se ^^)
@IRFodder I use that method too. Because I main Lana as the mage and Luna is the faction buffer, her AoE deals much more in one action. Then strikers pick up easy targets. The rest die to Freya when they try to attack my casters or to Cherie if they go for her since she's usually deep behind enemy lines after Winged Princess or Gale. But yes I agree that straight comparison, Vargas has the edge over Freya. But last time I checked, Langrisser uses teams and not solo heroes.
Damn those heavy shield procs were ridiculous. Dope video on my man Vargas! And the question on guaranteeing ssr after the first isn't true. After getting one of them you are back to getting any ssr.

I really have a problem with this banner, my main account spend 8x multis got Angelina on 4 multis and the game doesn't want to give me Liana, I screwed so much my main account doesn't have healer beside imelda Amelda and Sophia :( But I still can't believe my luck on my 2nd account I save up to 200 tickets, because I'm afraid I'm not lucky enough to pull Liana because my luck on previous banner so insane, and boom 1 multis got Liana, guaranteed service because I already got Angelina and cherie, start to think my main account can't go further without tiaris and Liana. The First SSR summon rule only applies to the first SSR you summon on the banner. It does not stick around. I had Cherie already before pulling. I then pulled Angelina, Angelina again, then Cherie. Missing Liana still.

I only got liana but It didn’t give me Angelina or Cherie so I think the banner false leading. I got Chris already and I got her again. Didn’t even get any new ssr. It keep giving me the ones I have which annoying
