›› This vlog is from our first combined training (dressage and showjumping) competition of the season. Despite a significant improvement in Rocky's dressage, we didn't quite achieve the score he's capable of. Then it was time to jump a very spooky showjumping track!

Rocky is SO much more rideable, well done Holly. He certainly didn’t look out of place in the dressage, and was a credit to you. Such a sweet boy!

Despite the poles down I think this was the most put together round I've seen from rocky. Well done! Love watching you and your horses.

I love how you’re as exited with Rocky’s performances as Khal’s! You’re a very nice rider and horse person who adapt well to each of your horses and it’s really cool to watch!

The taller the fences the better he jumps!! He really got some scope in him. Such an amazing round Holly, he looks so rideable now.

What a good boy Rocky is, so so calm during showjumping... Incredible to think how far he's come. Poor boy getting beaten up! I always enjoy your videos, especially the Aussie ones. 👍

First off lass, you both looked as good as all of those horses there. Both of you were as well turned out and while they may have had more dressage training, they didn't have you teaching jumping. It's sometimes hard to believe that Rocky is a hot blood, he is so chill. Andy's new horse is beautiful and is acting the hotblooded way TBs do. Well done.

Shame about the poles down but that was definitely the smoothest round he’s done to date. Looking forward to hearing how he gets on at his next show.

Well when you think what Rocky was like to start he has made amazing progress. Some of the jumps where he knocked he jumped a bit flat but then really picked up for the others. The ability is there🤩. Good job Holly! Your hard work with Rocky and positive attitude is paying off. He’s really starting to show what he can do.

Such an improvement since I last saw you compete. Brave doing CT at that height, the Dressage standard is usually higher as the jumps go up but you did an amazing job. Langwarrin is usually a happy place for me to compete so I hope you enjoyed the day. I have some ideas for training but I'm sure you have plenty of advice and I'm sure you'll do whats best for you and Rocky. You've done well so far, can't wait to see more. Have you tried Adult riding club? A graded comp against similar standard horses could help with his confidence.

Hi Holly, Those fences looked so big compared to what he was jumping not so long ago. He looked every bit as good as all the other horses there and you girl smashed it !!!!! Well done both of you. Rocky has changed so much! Forget show jumping, he’s rhythmic enough in the canter to have a shot at show hunter 😍🤤 Funnily enough I’m also about to get my own Rocky! He’s ALSO a 5yo plain bay ottb by Rock’n’Pop out of a Pins mare, so we can match 😂 Who’s your Rocky by/out of? 👀
