Belting out is hard enough, pano pa kaya ang whistle? Saka ano naman ang magagawa ni Ms. Lani, eh yun ang signature songs nya? She is a professional, of course kakantahin nya. Hindi po pandadaya ang ginawa nya. She HUMMED the right notes. Had she sung with her mouth open, 'di din sya pipiyok. Besides, mas prone sa pagpiyok ang pag-hum ng high notes. Educate yourselves before you make a comment. I like Regine, but you Regine fans are bashing Lani just for the sake of bashing. Walang sense mga sinasabi nyo. I think out of all the _I Will Always Love You_ renditions by Lani Misalucha I have watched so far, this might just be my favorite. It has a good combination of gentle and strong in the right parts. She's so relaxed here. And I love the ending! So beautiful.
Lani Misalucha is amazing! She sounds so smooth and comfortable in these two songs. Also, she reminds me of Minnie Riperton's live rendition of Loving You where she whistled with closed lips!

I love this version! What I love about Lani is that she doesn't sing a certain song the same way twice. That's why I'm always looking forward to her performances. And she has sung Loving You LIVE about 35791561 times. (Okay, I'm exaggerating, lol) But my point is, ang boring naman if she sings it the usual way lagi. =P Btw, it's not "what HAS". uhm... if you knew the late minnie riperton you would think twice about mariah and nina. in this video lani did a whistle with mmm not " u-ma". surprisingly lani did the similar vocal feat that the great minnie did during the 70's.

I will agree with you that there are many ways to hit a piano note but I consider whistle like how I know the originators did it, with their mouths opened. Also my concern isn't Lani hitting a whistle note but rather hitting the note correctly i.e inline with the music as how Minnie did it and Shanice keeps doing it! So eventhough Minnie use F6 and Shanice originally used F#6she shows the note can still be hit in same pattern with G6 and eeven up to E7. So that's what I expect from Lani!

I've never heard this version before. I must admit Lani did justice to her version of the song that Whitney Houston made famous. I couldn't help but notice, however, that Kris Aquino looked like a desperate Miss Piggy trying to fix herself (3:21 - 3:30) as Lani was singing. Poor Kris.
