Would this work on convertibles?? I saw on lanmodo website that it was used on ATV’s but didnt see a convertible option.

Hey Isaiah's Reviews, I don't see you have made a follow up on your review, so I have some questions for you about it, because I'm considering to by it. From what it looks like they have made some changes on the windproof from the version you have, to the new version. Is that correct? Second: Does it protect the windshield from rain, dew and ice? I have dashcam in my car, and I want them to be able to record at all time, rain, dew and ice makes it impossible, this is why I consider to buy this product. Last: What about snow? It has a anti-snow system, that shakes the snow off. I have seen another video of it being used in snow, and it didn't work at all. What is your experience with it, if you have been using it in snow? Will you still a year later recommend this product? I look forward to hear from you :)

Do you have a sunroof? Just wondering if it would suction well on metal roof vs glass. Also wonder if having large amounts of snow on umbrella would dent the roof?

I have a sunroof but i wouldn't put it on it fearing it might cause it to leak over time

Nice review. I wish that thing covers hood too i heard Sunshine is bad for carpaint, i think umbrella is bit small should cover the whole car or isnt? Or is there different sizes?

I think if it was any bigger it would be EXTREMELY difficult to handle when opening. It's almost too big for one person to handle

I'm curious to know if the straps with plastic hooks can also be hooked to the rear fender wells. Are the straps long enough to reach? From what I see, I am of the opinion that hooking to the rear fender wells would offer better stability than hooking to the door handles. In other words, having a bit of rearward angle to the straps would be better in high wind than having the straps straight up and down. Have you given this any thought?

I was gonna ask that question about the small size and why did he get the larger one. it's probably comes down to the price of the 3.5m X 2.1m To the 4.8m X 2.3m Or They didn't have the large one out at the time He bought & made the Review.

They are charging me $300 to return a faulty unit. And these things are heavy. My roof was dented. Don't bother.

matt neff That was my first question that you answered. He kept saying it’s hefty. On a sheet metal roof I could see that weight creating a dent. A car with a glass moon roof could possibly handle the weight. Even running a car wash mit over my roof it easily flexes.

I wouldn't wanna use it in any stronger wind than the video not that it couldn't take it because it could no problem but the installation and removal would be difficult

The suction isn't worth the price of the bag it comes in. In your wind demo, you can see it's not completely flush and would be even worst in wintery conditions.

PASS........ My windshield reflector works well and auto car starter to get the air conditioning going a few minutes ahead of time is fine with me. If you really want to protect your vehicle, just get a car canopy for your home. This thing will break within the first season of use.

I got the manual version and is JUNK! With a little wind, the metal fasteners are released and the structure bends. All that is said in this video is pure and absolute CRAP!
