I'm a novice and found your review very helpful. I had already seen this tent and it is within my budget and your review and tips helped me make my decision to buy. Thank you.

Hi Ian.. I need to buy a lightweight (2 pounds) 1 person tent. ZPacks and others like them are too expensive, which is why I'm looking at this tent. I appreciate the great job you did in this video, and it will definitely help me in my decision. Thanks!

Very good tent for BPL camping. I use it, tan color, too.

Stakes - the sooner manufacturers stop supplying them with tents, the better. Costs saved, weights easier to compare, and we won't end up over time with several useless sets of stakes nobody really wants. It's not long before any enthusiast assembles their personalised extended set of stakes, suited to their individual needs/tastes, from which to select the ideal combo for any particular outing. Thumbs up for the flat stone - and I usually find a second one for cooking on. All good tips mate - I also run an additional guy from the exterior apex hanging loop forwards ahead of the doors for enhanced stability, because that's the least supported side, and I find the door guying arrangement a bit fiddly still. Looking forward to using my Pro 1 again soon!

Good review l'm of an age when ultra light is a necessity rather than a choice and have spent around 10 nights in this tent including strong winds and heavy rain and the tent has remained stable and l've kept dry. For the money, you can't go wrong. I'm 5' 11" and there's plenty of room for me and my gear. Yes, as with all single skinners, condensation can be an issue. I'm a fair weather camper so at night l keep the inner mesh open and don't fully zip up the outer so its been manageable. I always keep a J cloth handy and wipe down as and when necessary. Are there better ultra light one person tents? Yes, but at three or four times the price. But if you're on a budget or a newbie to backpacking and don't want to splash the cash until you feel confident it's for you, then l'd recommend the Lamshan 1 Pro.

Thanks, useful review. Interesting to see you have the pole at 127cm - I thought the 3FUL site suggested 120? I should try higher with my 1 pro - at 120 I don’t find it easy to get a good even, taut pitch.

In heavy rain, the drops dislodge the condensation on the inside, creating a mist spray onto you and your sleeping bag.

Thanks for the review. What pole do you use? I've been looking at the really cheap ones from ebay. Mine just turned up today. So excited to try it but I haven't got a pole for it yet. It arrived quicker than I thought it would.

I use a pole from a pair I bought from Alpkit, called carbonlong. Have fun with the tent 👍 ATB

Good review - I have the L1 & L2 double skins and love them, but the inners really do flap about in wind. I've done mods to the tents (no tent is perfect) and just bought the L1 'Plus' 4 season inner - odd tension so mods and patience required to sort out! Considered the 'pro' versions, but the jury is still out on single skins for me... look forward to more vids - atb Sinco

Get the Pro! I bought a Lanshan 1 and moved it on after seeing how cramped it was, bought the Pro version which I think is way better.

hi what glue did you use for the tent?

Hi, I used the Gear aid seam sealer and applied it with the syringe that comes with the tent

Hi mate. I noticed you didn’t have any lines for pegging the bathtub out is that right? My lanshan pro has yellow guy line on each corner of the bath tub also

Good spot, forgot to peg them out on film, too much of a hurry 😀
