No sir SSD can do much better than that you explain.SSD can boost your Boot time + Application Open time ( Which is the main reason for lagging a laptop). So please you are upgrading a SSD then your laptop Overall speed will boost 4 times to 10 times depending on your processor.

agar 2 gb hai toh 2 gb ka 1 or module lgalo same frequency ka, 4 gb ram minimum chahiye aaj kl... or ssd lgalo 1 toh system thoda sa responsive ho jyega. Note: zaroori nh hai ke inki har baat shi hai, ssd ya nvme ke bhot benefits dikhte hain hdd pe bhi rpm ka fark pd jata hai... switch to ssd then see the difference. and 4 gb minimum ram is req for normal user.

Sir practically if you are playing a game which is 20 gb you cant load all together in ram the part which you are playing only that is loaded on ram and hence if you have ssd you feel lag free experience as loading speed is fast as compared to hdd

SSD will increase your overall performance and saves a lot of time. You're only considering photoshop software where I work on a single data for a long time. What about when I rapidly change my working data like gaming, asynchronous applications, etc. Conclusion: You can say there should not be a major bottleneck in your system. Monitor your system resources and try to find out which component is struggling hard to do your job. You can simply do it using your task manager. After analysis check your motherboard's user guide/maintenance guide and upgrade the required component(s) and you will get definitely a better result. Thank you.

sir ssd saves so much time. every process like filtering in photoshop, synchronize files and transferring files gets so much fast. and that's what we all do in our computer. we open softwares, we transfer files and we only need that to be fast. also now if you check windows 10 requires almost 2.5gb ram for the initial purpose. So having a large ram will make user able to open and run multiple programs at the same time. and ssd increases overall gaming speed, it saves battery because if we install os on ssd it will load operating system and ui much faster than previous. So please provide good knowledge to your viewers. Upgrading ram and ssd are important if pc is not working fast. It loads programs fast and opens multiple program at the same time. also voltage require by ssd is much smaller than hdd.

This will be useful for person who use only 1-2 apps. like bank, Billing, Spreadsheets. But in real life RAM and SSD matter. Higher RAM can keeps frequent Apps and Files in memory and Increase multitasking Speed. Its wrong to say speed will not improve but you can say different users have different requirement.and for many people speed will increase. And you are very wrong on SSD. For you computer speed is only speed of processing. SSD have very great impact Antivirus uses Disk in back ground and when you use heavy apps Disk uses get very hank and system gets slow and unresponsive. For normal use 4-8GB Ram is enough but SSD have great speed improvement and its also helps in faster movement of data to and from Memory which help in processing.

@@anshumaangupta7398 you are right. He is is not talking about overall performance of lap tops. If processing is high and read & write is slow, there I suggest for ssd. There will dramatic improvement in the overall performance of the Lappy. Thus, it is always advisable to go for SSD under all circumstances to get better experience.

4GB RAM is not enough for smooth work. You need at least 6-8 GB RAM for better performance, else your laptop will lag a lot. SSD does improve the performance by at least 3 to 4 times. One can easily notice while using SSD over HDD.

Probability of Freezing your Application or exhaust like sound from Cooling fan is reduced to minimum.... that's the main reason people go for upgrade. Post upgradation of my laptop, I have 2013 built i3 2nd generation processor with 8 GB DDR4 and 1TB SSD and experience is so smooth even beats today generation prcessor in processing.

Ssd does not alter processing speed of laptop but enhances transfer speed which in turn deliver the output in a much faster way so your laptop gets faster in this sense

Little Knowledge is dangerous ! For reference, please check your Task Manager and you would find HDD mostly as 100% occupied when your system is slow, specially in Windows 10. Earlier windows versions were more reliable on RAM, but now data is too much and Windows acceses much heavier data from Hard disk directly. Moral is, the software is also built as per the current upgraded hardware, you can not expect the software still relying on limited RAM, that's why system get slower with newer software versions.

i know 1 thing, i think all must know that SSD HELPS OPTIMISATION OF ANY APPS , I USE NVME SSD FROM LAST 3 YEARS , THATS WHY I KNOW THAT.. Like any games installed on ssd helps boot time, it also remove lagginess of games 'some time we face when these high end games installed on hdd' Another thing, When we use apps which installed on sdd like firefox browser, steam store, battenet store, epic game store, it increases the apps resposiveness as compared these apps installed on hdd. I don't know why many people miss thats important points on sdd , they all only see sdd boot time. btw i use adata 512gb s11 pro ssd. well this sdd helps me alot.

Idk sir ke dwara kitna time lgaya gya research karne me But my experience RAM aur SSD lgane se laptop ki performance pr 100% effect padta hai. RAM aur SSD upgrade krne se pehle chrome open hone me 4 se 5 minute lagte the. Multitasking nhi hoti thi. 3 ya 4 tab se jyada open hone pr system respond nhi krta tha. But upgradation ke baad unbelievable speed badh gyi hai multiple file milli second me open hoti hai.

SSD never increses processing speed. Its a storage device only. Read write speed is increased but not processing speed.

@@technep1677 everything is linked. You can eat 10 apples a minutes but your friend can only get 5 apple per minute then how can you eat 10 apples. Similarly CPU is much faster and HDD is much slower. SSD can serve fast data so you get faster result. faster procession need faster Input and Output. same applies when your waiter is slow and you cant eat fast.

@@technep1677 I agree but I said its linked. the data flow is from storage to Memory and Memory to CPU. Do you know CPU scheduling and I/O wait. its not affected much for many people but theoretically it effects. The data on which CPU process is on SSD so is it wont increase processing speed but faster I/O increases system speed. We are not talking about just processing speed of the processor take ssd and HDD with it.

Had a very slow laptop.Increased the ram to 8 from 4.Also SSD of 256GB in CD drive using a Caddy. Now I can't recognize my laptop.It has become so fast. It was so difficult before opening a simple settings section,now it's very fast. Before if I type a letter it would appear after 5 -6 seconds but now it's simultaneous.
