Thanks for the tutorial I rather this style of video over no voice type ..... I was hoping my keyboard would come out so I can clean it ...... I'm pretty sure it needs it after 3 years of eating right next to the laptop all the time .....
Great video! I have a hp 15-bs115dx so this is super helpful. I recently bricked my laptop by failed bios update. I think I need to reprogram the bios chip. The problem is which one is the bio chip?
Is the removable DVD drive a slim type? Also, is it possible to upgrade the mobo with the Celeron 1.1 🙄 😴 to a better mobo, i5, or if possible, i7? Is 8 GB (1 RAM card?) The max supported? Found a tossed out HP 15 bs212 series laptop. Nice laptop, but the Celeron CPU might be a little lame! System works but CD player seens stuck - doesn't want to open!
It's a basic laptop and most likely it's not upgradable since they do not make other version and if you will try to swap just matrix- video cable might not fit and you can burn the screen
Check if its possibly got glued from a spill, also try to remove all screws and carefully detach palmrest and looks inside to identify what can possibly hold the drive inside.
@@Laptopnuts thanks for your answer, but you didn't understand me. Sure my motherboard has m2 slot, but I mean can I put there m2 nvme instead of simple m2 Sata?
@@Laptopnuts If the laptop doesn't already have an m.2 connector, I would NOT recommend using an m.2 SSD with a SATA adapter. It would work but it would be a waste. Better off just using a SATA 3.5" SSD instead since they ae cheaper, you can get a much larger SATA SSD cheaper than an M.2 drive, and you wouldn't need an adapter. this is really a poor laptop, with only 4GB of ram, with no 2nd slot for another SODIMM for dual channel, and a mechanical hard drive.
