Laptop Repair Log 2 - Wrong Sized Caddy and Cloning Error 23 

My college blockmate, without consulting me first, decided to follow my SSD+HDD video guide...even if his laptop has an M.2 slot. Also he bought the wrong sized caddy (too thick). We solved it using our prototyping hand skills from college.
Also when cloning the operating system, Macrium Reflect spitted out a "Clone Failed - Read Failed - 13" and MiniTool produced an Error 23. I eventually solved it with a "chkdsk c: /r" in command prompt.
The laptop is an Asus ROG GL552
