@@andersonnguyen7801well at least the licensed survivors, Ash and Bill should have voicelines in game as well as the Resident Evil characters (not just in lobby)
I think she's perfect! She sounds like a blend of survivor Lara and classic Lara. The actor nailed the "sass" that many fans have come to expect from this character. 😊
It's either keeley hawes so Laras definitive va and her most iconic especially for old school Underwood fans like a myself or it there's chance it's Emily O'Brien it's hard to tell as both VA's sound familiar
@@noyoucantnoicantnowecantsostop Bill voice lines may be difficult due to the actor passing away years ago. Hopefully they can find someone who can closely replicate the voice
@@ethanle2901 Its not that difficult actually. Bill has an hour long length of voice lines in L4D, so maybe if Behaviour just asked, they can take certain voice clips, and put them into the game. And since Steam is against monetary gain from their IPS, so as long as anyone is able to use them for free, they’re ok with it, its why it took them long to release a new cosmetic for Bill until now and why his Heart of Valor can only be achieved by iridescent shards, because he’s pretty much free. But a new voice actor that can replicate the voice doesn’t sound bad either.
Yeah! It really makes me wish they could go back and give at least unlicensed survivors voicelines like these, but that'd probably be sadly too hard for BHVR to do considering all of the acting and unique dialogue writing required for that
@@gizmoray721Yeah it would be much to hard for the massive multi-national gaming company that brings in millions of dollars a year. Maybe if they hired more developers with real experience instead of pride concept artists they could get it done.
@@gizmoray721Yes, the small indie company that takes in hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue yearly, yet can’t be bothered to animate a single character’s mouth moving when they talk. I have no sympathy for Behaviour, they barely do their jobs. There’s no innovation in BHVR, they can’t even be bothered to do the bare minimum and their stale gameplay loop hasn’t changed in near on a decade.
I just wish starting with Sable, we got ingame voicelines that aren't locked to lobby. Sable's voice is great and I would have loved to hear it more, it's just sucks they only do this for licensed survivors. DBD needs this huge voice update for original survivors.
I haven't been exposed to a lotta Tomb Raider (I know, I've been living under a rock), but I absolutely love these voicelines. Really helps build the character.
@@npsea2398 Kelly Osbourne tried to make a statement by saying "if you kick every latino out of this country, who will be cleaning your toilets, Donald Trump?", and a cohost replied by saying "oh, that's not.." the second hand embarrasment is what made it a meme lol
If we get any skins from the Legend, Anniversary or Underworld eras, Imma need Keeley Hawes to come back and voice her 😂 She did it when Lara was in Call of Duty!!
Nicolas Cage has one ore two voice lines when other survivors leave through exit while he's still in the map. Don't know if others who can speak has that voice lines or not
@@kristoforousat first I thought it wouldn’t really make sense but Uncharted 1 was basically a horror game with those monsters. And uncharted 2 also had monsters
My only issue with these voice lines is that they don’t match the tone of the game. Like why did she just have a blood curdling scream on the hook and not even a second later she’s asking if ppl are around in a somewhat scared tone acting like she doesn’t have a hook through her shoulder lmfaoooo
If any voice lines come from a survivor on a hook, I wish they were more strained and said through gritting teeth while sharply inhaling from the pain. Not a whispering whimper to not let the killer hear them.
Yeah that was the only one that was really jarring to me. Some other game voicelines are kinda like that too. It's not too late to suggest a change though, like making it said later on hook
She doesn't have a likeness, she's like Joel and Ellie from TLOU, and afaik they got the classic Lara voice actress because the one that did the trilogy (the would be most accurate one) quit TR (which is fine of course I hate how that sounds like she abandoned it lmao)
Literally !!!! She’d fit so much better and I’m sure she’d actually wanna do it if given the chance. I hope when they add her she’ll get the Lara and Alan wake amount of voice lines, can you imagine if they added her and gave a voice line that triggers when a killer misses a m1 to her 😂 it’d be so on brand. Luckily it seems a decent pit of people want her so hopefully the devs see!
Why does she sound so Canadian (nice and polite). In the modern games she curses so much (at least in german) so it's a bit weird that she ain't saying fuck or shit more often. Also just in general too calm for someone being chased by a killer or when they get hooked hurt or downed. Not my cup of tea tbh
Bruh the contrast between her voice acting and Alan wake’s voice acting especially during the pick up voice lines since they basically say the same stuff is insane Spoiler alert: Alan’s VA is much better
What do you mean, example, Nicolas Cage has slot of lines but I barely hear them as much as the PTB, so maybe for the in game it would happen, like kinda how it is with chunky l, how sometimes, but not all the time they’ll say something
@@ainatzgr7145 it feels like she has something for literally everything you do. Some things don’t need a line. Particularly starting a chase or being carried
This is like back when we got wesker and it almost sounded good enough to be DC douglas but not quite. Same. This almost sounds like Camillia. But its too deep. Not light enough. I know it isnt her. But still.
Her performance in general in DBD sounds so lack luster. As if she didn't really try. I don't wanna believe the voice actor is really just that bad. I hope they retake them because they are really bad or not on the quality what I expected from other chapters. Honestly would be a reason for me to not buy her
@@sunset4079sounds great to me, and if they don't I'd blame bhvr not the actress as I'm pretty sure she's *the* Lara Croft lmao They could've done a better job deciding the moment they play and all that
@@ookam9685Honestly all 3 aren’t bad. Nick is more comedic (though his performance is still great). Alan has a raw performance, especially for his screams. And Lara is a mix of both.
@@surgingtsunami7780 yeah they aren’t bad but as you just said the raw performance from alan’s voice actor was awesome which puts it on top because it was professional
@@surgingtsunami7780yeah you're right. Not anything to do with the voice actors for me, they're both incredible, but they did a better job scripting Alan's and stuff
That’s fair personally I think they are nice as you get more of your moneys worth; but I understand the sentiment instead of not doing them anymore they def should add a setting toggle to disable them.
