After starting my Lara Fabian journey two years ago, I discovered Dimash. So many have said they feel he is the greatest singer in the world...and he idolizes Lara. That just about says it all.

I love you... I saw emotion during that number. But, I fell in love with Lara's music often playing in the car or in the background, and so many songs said exactly how I felt - beginning with You're Not From Here. I found out that I could admire and respect someone and then find out it's a facade and that person is practically a malignant narcissit. So, as I opened up to receive the truth, the Universe caused a tital wave of painful information to flood my brain, and I "needed an angel to watch over me". Almost every song had a line that would jump out at me, and I started remixing and rearranging these songs so that evert line, every word, would have meaing for me. I would sometimes fall asleep working on this intense project, and one night I heard Lara sing, "You are a liar" and I jumped and played it again and again... and that's what it sounded like. It's in the song Intoxicated. I believe now she was just vocalizing, but when I listen to the song now, I sing the "you are a liar" part. I though this music was either going to heal me or kill me. I decided it had to heal me because I couldn't let go of Lara Fabian and not listen to these songs anymore. It healed me, but once in a while, when I hear and/or sing these songs with the recordings, I remember how painful that all was and sometimes I may have to wipe a tear from my face, but they are just memories... After all we had been through, I could only look at you, with the eyes you lied to, I'm givin' up, I'm givin' up on you. XOXO

A gorgeous and haunting song. People often praise her lyric writing, and rightly so, but she also composes the melodies. She has an extraordinary gift for writing melodies that are complex and difficult yet they never come across as showy when she performs them. Every note has a purpose. It's like they are another language she speaks fluently. Thank you for another "off the beaten path" Lara reaction!

Good day to you good woman. Early 2000’s a magnificent time in Lara’s career. This shows her perfect pitch and great song writing skills as well. One of my favorite sad songs. Notice how she generally holds the mic with right hand and uses her left arm and hand flips to assist the placement of the tricky notes. She uses that technique even now in her career. Whomever was her strongest tutor in her young days surely taught her well. Just the best!
