What a magnificent voice. For a METAL guy, I suggest you watch REQUIEM POUR UN FOU with Lara Fabian and Johnny Halliday. It's quite an experience, you should enjoy it a lot.
Yes agree with you, she is going stronger and stronger, last week she was in LONDON UK with Hauser, the month before in Bulgaria, Zagreb, Turkey, Prague and Moldevia, next month Montréal, Québec, Ottawa, She is now 54yo looks better than ever and her voice is right out of this world, release a new single last febuary and top the charts in the french world the next day, amazing angel Lara
it's not a type of music i would usually listen to, but the more i listen to this one, the more i like it. and of course her beautiful, elegant voice helps a lot.
For many reasons, I have a lot of particular affinity with your reactions to Lara. Firstly because your reactions are fair and honest but above all they take me back to a happy past that is unfortunately long gone. More intimately, I am an old metalhead, since the early 80s, and I discovered Lara in the 90s, introduced by the girl who was (and will remain) the love of my life. I can't listen to Lara without thinking of this girl with great sadness. But what shocked me the most since your first reaction was your resemblance to this girl's brother... almost a twin. Their father was Italian, I understand better today. Concerning the song "Quedate", I'm French but Lara's interpretation and the guitar always vibrate the 50 percent of Spanish blood that flows in me. Keep on going, your reactions to Lara are my best therapy 😉. 🤘
