Awesome video! 2 more video ideas for you if you need them (sorry for the unsolicited ideas 😅 1) Say you spend time in the laravel ecosystem and want to ship a production application, how much would you expect to pay for all of the laravel goodies each month? like Forge, Herd, Envoyer, etc. How many of those are necessary? 2) As a complete beginner, how long would you anticipate it'd take to learn how to ship a decently complex laravel app. Assuming already decent proficiency with coding/rails/etc. How would you effectively learn the ecosystem?
Aaron pumping videos like every other day - loving it. I'm not actively working on Laravel - moved to Spring(Java) due to my job, but still a Laravel fanboy and waiting on Aaron to create a full Laravel+Livewire course.
Hey, thanks for amazing video, Aaron. Seems like laravel is in a hype train for last months, a lot of my friends JS developers - they told me PHP and Laravel is not crap anymore. So excited for PHP and Laravel bright future 🎉
PHP is still bad though :( the blocking model sucks and also the one-process-per-request is very inefficient. Thankfully there are solutions but I feel they are still not very developer friendly
I love the content, quality of teaching, fairness and kindness of this guy. I’m happy to see great guys like Jeffrey and Aaron in this community who helps us 🙏🏻✨
2:05 People using dark mode do not experience the good feeling you get after 10 hours working using light mode. That eyes burning feels great 😎. besides it dims your surroundings for better focus. I do use both modes, dark for VS Code and light mode for VS, I was using VS way before dark mode was a thing so it's out of habit. Thanks Aaron!
This service is looks very useful, with kind price politics, like you can use it on simple project where u have a small amount of mails for free, or like just use it for self notification when server is going to have critial errors, i like it, thx a lot😊
Tbh resend offers a very convenient service, but their pricing is a bit much for the functionality that you get out of it. Pricey enough to the point I'd just prefer SES. 250k emails / month with SES is $25~, with resend it is minimum $80. Pretty much every single price point resend is around 3x more expensive.
Not to mention Resend is literally just a wrapper around SES, so it's still being delivered by SES. You're essentially paying 4-10x the price for a fancy dashboard.
@@eatinburgers No difference. Resend is literally just using SES to actually send the emails, you just get to use their fancy dashboard instead of the AWS console, but as awful as the AWS console is its not worth the significant price increase IMO.
@@aarondfrancisif you do, could you check how to make horizontal scaling work with a Redis serverless cache in AWS? I understand if you cannot or don't want though, as it's a very niche and advanced usage... Thanks if you do!
How is Jetbrains phpstorm so fast and smooth here 😑? It is slow in my laptop and desktop and Mac Air M1 😑 Nice addition to laravel and good video. Thanks
Yeah there's nothing on there but whatever. I don't know much about RU-vid's creator side anyway. How do i stop getting emails for this silly comment???
I mean, let's be honest, does personal preference really matter? 😆 I love light mode on everything as it's easier on my eyes (but I totally get it's the opposite for others). Keep building, friend 🧑💻🤘
