Large (90cm) Ribbon Out Of One Piece - Playing a tune in stereo 

Redid the ribbon (made some changes) and made a pair. play 3 tunes from the serie LOST.
Keep in mind, the audio recorder is much further away then the previous recording to be able to capture both speakers, this means more room acoustics (could have moved them really close....)
I hope you find the music interesting. since its not something you are gone listen to without knowing it existed ;)

About the setup
Sens is really low, around 82-84 since they mate with very inefficient woofers (82 dB tangband w5-1138smf ) at the moment. they where crossed here at 350 hz /24db oct. not ideal in many ways. first its much saver to cross them higher of course :) secondly i dont want to make 24db oct filters. but since this was used on a minidsp. i thought i might be fun for a change.
efficiency can be made better. the gap in this construction was 24mm while the current ribbon in it is only 18mm. so moving the magnets closer should win some output. another option is leave out the metal that holds the magnets and replace it with a second row of magnets. price wise the metal bar is roughly the same price as the magnets i use... it increases the magnetic field considerably compared to using metal and one row.
Here is a ferquency plot of the ribbon only with the 24dB/crossover i did not use gating since its not valid anyway that low :) haha
