Most people do not leave the surrounds loose. The plug can be linked to a pipe outlet with a stop valve and secreted in the garden. Then drain the pool the sensible way.
Malcolm, you are correct. If you installed a threaded 1 inch nippled with a threaded 1-inch elbow to a 1-inch PVC and ran it to your best drainage area with a series of fittings etc. It would make life super simple for cleaning.
Just add 1/4 chlorine pool tables...issue solved... I would actually know cause that is exactly what I do with my actua ⛲️ in order to prevent mildew growth... no more mildew growth or scrubbing needed at allll
