I loved what you said. We are partial homesteaders but are not 100 percent there. We do alot of the homesteading lifestyle but sometimes I make sourdough and sometimes it’s store bought bread. Our biggest love is gardening and cooking from scratch. We do some of our meats. We have a beginner fruit orchard on our property too. No dairy cow though. And I don’t sew. 😂I actually consider Azure a way of homesteading. Yes there is a reliance on someone else but they support the small farmers or businesses mainly. They also care about quality and good top ingredients. It doesn’t have to be all or nothing like some you tubers seem to push.
I don't grow any of our food myself but i do cook from scratch using only simple ingredients. I'm aiming to build a bulk pantry and system that goes along with it, for everything besides perishables this winter. Until now i would only buy exactly how much i needed for the week. Since doing more cooking and baking, it's not sustainable anymore. Love the ideas here. We are in the process of starting an azure drop in my town and hope it'll be ready for the next delivery
Good for you! I understand what you are saying. It seems like the homestead types feel a need to justify/apologize buying canned tomatoes or yogurt etc. from Azure. So glad you feel comfortable with your life today. All four of mine are all grown and out of college. Life changes.
@@HeatherMama7 I actually did a video with some pantry meals! I keep my meals super simple, and just do different combinations of whatever I happen to have on hand - a meat, a veggie, and a side, or a meat, pasta, and sauce with veggies.
Hello - I am new to azure standard and trying to place my first order. Can you pls share with me the item number for the butter? I see this butter on everyone’s videos but cannot locate the exact one on their site. Thank you!
Here’s the link: www.azurestandard.com/shop/product/food/dairy/butter/sweet-cream/salted/butter-salted-organic/19624?package=DP293&a_aid=3cb3ad63e7 It’s very popular, so some months it’s not available, but totally worth it and it freezes well!
